Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During the period of 1994, Xinjiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly enrolled graduate students majoring in internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, internal medicine of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, acupuncture and ancient medical literature for the first time. 1998, after the establishment of Xinjiang Medical University, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine became a teaching unit under the school.
