Finger peach, the scientific name of traditional Chinese medicine. It is the root of Ficus carica of Moraceae. Five-fingered peaches are distributed in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Guizhou and Yunnan, and also in Vietnam and Cambodia. Has the effects of invigorating spleen, benefiting lung, promoting qi circulation, promoting diuresis, relaxing muscles and tendons, and activating collaterals. Indications are spleen deficiency, edema, anorexia, weakness, tuberculosis, cough, night sweats, leukorrhagia, postpartum lactation, rheumatalgia, edema, ascites due to liver cirrhosis, hepatitis and traumatic injury.
