Last week, I wrote an article about singles, which attracted many readers' attention and comments. No matter how we look at singles, we can't deny that singles are becoming a trend.
At present, there are 240 million single adults in China, and the average age of marriage is 27 years old, which has even been postponed to nearly 30 years old in first-tier cities. More than 77 million people live alone, and it is estimated that it will rise to 92 million in 202 1 year. The trend of singles in developed countries is even more fierce. In Stockholm, Sweden, the proportion of singles is as high as 60%.
Throw away the numbers and look at the ordinary people around you.
In the 1980s and 1990s, 30-year-old unmarried children were hardly seen, and one or two children occasionally appeared, which was the focus of people's gossip and divorce was rare. But now, there are not a few single unmarried people around the age of 30 in the office, and those who live alone after divorce are not a case, especially in first-and second-tier cities.
This trend has attracted the attention of many people.
The reason for the single trend is a research topic for sociologists. The single economy and its business opportunities are the treasures for enterprises to explore. It is a problem that the government needs to solve to find ways to formulate measures to reverse the downward trend of birth rate. Flaunting "single free and easy life" and denouncing "single guilty, unmarried and childless is a lack of social responsibility" is a means for the media to attract attention.
But whether it is statistics, emerging business opportunities, being promoted by the media or being demonized, these are far from the daily life of every single person. In fact, single people live as ordinary as others, but every single person has his own life and ideas.
Since everyone does not deny that being single has become an unprecedented powerful and inevitable torrent, what kind of life do ordinary people live and what kind of thoughts do they have?
According to this trend, maybe more and more people will live a single life in the future. Maybe being single is no longer a label for someone, but everyone will go through many stages of life, just like our career is no longer an iron rice bowl until graduation and retirement.
It is a kind of wisdom and skill to put aside the fear and prejudice of being single, put down the flaunting and boasting of being single, and live a good life calmly.
I want to know the real life and thoughts of singles and find the wisdom to live a good single life, so I have the following plan-Single world: What are people who don't fall in love and get married? Plan to interview 100 singles to show their lives and thoughts.
The following is the story of the first interviewer.
No. 1 Enjoy simplicity and tranquility.
Single, female, 30+, coordinates Beijing. Grew up in a small third-and fourth-tier city in the north, only child.
After graduating from college, I stayed in Beijing to do "drifting north". I have changed several jobs, from junior clerk to management, and now I am the director of an IT company.
At present, the protagonist rents a house by himself. The house is an old house in the late 1990s, shared with two other houses. It needs a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. In first-tier cities, because the rent is expensive and you want to save more money, sharing is a choice for many singles. Although she could afford to rent a one-bedroom apartment, she chose to share it.
The rental house is only ten minutes away from work, which is very convenient. Moreover, the sharing of water, electricity and gas is in the early 3000 yuan a month, which is very cost-effective in the local area.
There are computers, cosmetic mirrors, skin care products, hair dryers and other items on the desk with shelves to meet the needs of reading, work, skin care and makeup. There are dirty clothes buckets, trash cans and cartons for storing snacks on the floor next to the desk. The box contains coffee and nuts bought online.
The quilt on the bed is not folded properly, and it will be tidied up a little every morning.
The big cupboard beside the bed is very practical, and clothes and sundries can be put in it. Every night, I will find out the clothes to wear the next day and hang them up. Generally speaking, the room is full of "minimalist style".
The kitchen and living room are messy, after all, there are three families living in * * *.
Go shopping on weekends, and the food you want to eat at noon the next day will be put in the refrigerator on weekdays and taken away directly in the lunch box the next morning. However, if you are tired of cooking, you will also order takeout.
The work place is in the office building. Get up at 7: 30 -7: 45 every morning on weekdays,15 go out at 8: 00, and arrive at the station at 8: 30 to have breakfast.
Breakfast is mostly simple coffee and bread, which is quickly solved and then put into intense work. Although I can get off work at 5: 30, I usually work until around 7: 00 because of many things, and occasionally work overtime until late.
Weekend weekend, get up later than usual. I also spend some time working on weekends. In my spare time, I will clean the room, wash clothes, read books, surf the Internet, get together with friends, go shopping and take part in activities.
Interview content:
1. If you rate your current life satisfaction, how many points would you score from 1 to 10?
Seven to eight.
2. What are you satisfied with and dissatisfied with?
The place of satisfaction is a simple and free life. If you are alone, there won't be many things at home and you feel very comfortable. You have great freedom to work or go out to play, and to eat and buy whatever you want.
It is discontented that a person's life can sometimes be a bit difficult to cope with. For example, eating will be more casual, sometimes I want to cook a big meal, but I give up when I think that one person can't finish it. There is also the worry that in case of accidents, such as illness or accidents.
I have experienced a high fever and went to the hospital for infusion. At this time, I will be more vulnerable. But when it's over, I don't feel anything. I like to watch movies alone, eat hot pot alone and go shopping alone. I am used to it and enjoy it.
What are your plans for marriage and love?
I think it's fate at present. It's a little inaction and negative to think like this. Because I tried before, but it didn't work.
Now I want to put more energy into my work and hobbies, and feel that my efforts in these areas can be more rewarding. However, love and marriage are not excluded, but this is not important.
4. If you remain single, will you be worried?
I was worried before, mainly about what to do when I was old. Now we will look at this problem more peacefully.
Still have to work hard and earn more money to support the elderly. In this way, whether you enter a nursing home or buy a house in a favorite place with friends who live alone, you are more confident.
5. What do your family think of your singleness?
Of course, I hope to get rid of the bill early. I will communicate with my family and lower their expectations. Because the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment, so do a good job of expected management. I will try my best to live my life and reassure them.
6. Will you take the initiative to manage your money? What are the main consumption items?
Yes
It may be because I am single and worried about providing for the elderly, so I value this work very much. At present, there are mainly bank financing and fixed investment funds, as well as current savings emergency.
Rent is a major item of consumption, as well as the consumption of participating in training and learning, as well as tourism. Other aspects of low consumption, can cook, have no desire for clothes and cosmetic bags. I don't mean to save money, but I'm not interested, so I think that brands that are easy to use and affordable will always be used, as long as the clothes are enough to wear, and the styles are mostly versatile. Anyway, the company has no requirements for wearing. Walking to and from work, taking the subway and bus on weekends.
7. What do you want to say to yourself or other singles?
I have read the data about marriage. The older you get, the less likely you are to get married. It's good that people who can find two of a kind can live a long life, but it's okay to be afraid of being single. It is also important for people to learn to be alone with themselves and find hobbies that make them happy.
It says on the back:
Starting today, the "100 single" small project will be officially launched, approaching the real single life. I hope it will be more realistic in the form of display+interview.
This is the first time I have done such a project, and there is a 100 order, which is not small. To what extent and when it can be completed, we can only say that we will do our best.
