This is not an illusion. At the end of the last film Alice in Wonderland, when Alice decided to bid farewell to the plain life and set sail, she mentioned that she would extend the trade route to China. In this film, Alice first returned to her hometown from China. At the end of the film, she and her mother came to a "trading port" in China and settled down. And in the film, she spends most of her time wearing a suit with China elements, with embroidery and buttons. Suppose there is a third film, maybe Alice will have more stories about China.
