Vitamin AE capsule overdose
1. Excessive intake of vitamin A can lead to serious poisoning and even death. 2. Long-term overdose of vitamin E (daily dosage: ]800mg) may cause bleeding tendency, change endocrine metabolism (thyroid, pituitary and adrenal gland), change immune mechanism, affect sexual function, and have the risk of thrombophlebitis or embolism. 3. After taking a large amount of vitamin A (more than 654.38+0.5 million units for adults and 75,000 ~ 300,000 units for children) for 6 hours, acute poisoning may occur, and patients may have abnormal excitement or agitation, dizziness, drowsiness, diplopia, severe headache, vomiting, diarrhea and peeling (especially lips and palms), and the baby's head may have bumps, agitation and convulsions. 4. Chronic poisoning can be manifested as joint pain, swelling, itchy skin, chapped lips, fatigue, weakness, general malaise, fever, headache, vomiting, blurred vision and flu-like syndrome. After stopping the drug, the symptoms of poisoning are mostly relieved within one week, and can also last for several weeks.
