How to make plant extracts?
The most important step of self-made plant extract is extraction, which extracts natural nutrients or pigments from various plants. Plant extracts can be made by using the principle of similar compatibility, and the method is as follows:

1. Cooking extraction method: clean fresh raw materials with clear water, soak them in clear water for 10- 15 minutes, then boil them with low fire, and turn off the fire before the water boils; Cover the lid and steam for 10- 15 minutes, without half-opening the lid; Cooling, transferring into other containers, covering with plastic wrap, and standing at room temperature to precipitate effective components; 1-2 days later, filtering to obtain the extract.

2. Alcohol extraction: put the flowers or fruit roots in a clean glass; Pour alcohol into a glass filled with flowers and plants, cover it, and shake it evenly so that all flowers and plants are soaked in the mixed solution; Move the glass bottle to a cool place, mix the alcohol solution of flowers and plants with coconut oil or olive oil after about three or four days, and heat, with the ratio of solution to oil of1:5; Stop heating until there is no alcohol smell or fine bubbles, and leave it for one day and then filter.

3. Glycerol extraction: glycerol and distilled water are mixed in water and heated in isolation; When the temperature reaches 70-80 degrees, add flowers and plants and put them in a stewing pot for 12-24 hours; Finally, the flowers and plants are filtered by filter paper, and the obtained solution is licorice flower extract.
