Is hot compress as effective as plaster?
The two effects are not quite the same. Only when the injury lasts for more than 24 hours can hot compress be carried out. Local hot compress with hot towel or hot water bottle can accelerate blood circulation, promote the absorption of subcutaneous soft tissue exudate and reduce edema. There are many kinds of plasters with different effects, such as relieving pain, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, relaxing muscles and tendons, dredging collaterals, inducing resuscitation and expelling wind and cold.
