Step 1/

First, put the bottom of Baote bottle near Hegu point and fully compress it. Putting the bottom of Baote bottle on the meridian passing through Hegu point makes it easier to apply hot compress to the point. When you feel hot, let go → hot compress → let go. Repeat the steps several times until your body feels warm. Switch hands to get Potter's bottle and repeat the same steps on the other side.

Location/Hegu point: web between thumb and forefinger, near the edge of forefinger bone.

Step 2/

Then warm moxibustion at Shousanli point. Place the bottom edge of Baote bottle near the acupuncture point. Hot compress passes through the meridians of Shousanli point. Warm moxibustion method is the same as step 1. Repeat the same step on the other side.
