Can yogurt be used as pudding?
Of course, yogurt can be used to make pudding. The pudding is actually very simple. Just add coagulant such as Geely powder to the liquid material, heat and melt the coagulant, stir the liquid evenly, and then refrigerate to make pudding. Its principle is that colloidal substances are melted by heating and solidified by cooling. Many people have only used semi-finished pudding powder on the market. The pudding powder is actually a mixture of milk powder, sugar and gelatin powder, which needs to be boiled in water and then cooled. Therefore, it is considered that the liquid material must be cooked thoroughly when making pudding, and yogurt can't be cooked, so it is doubtful whether this yogurt can be made into pudding.

In fact, you only need to heat gelatin powder to make pudding. Soak Geely powder in water, heat it to liquid state, then mix it with other liquids to make pudding, such as milk, yogurt, juice, puree, etc., and then refrigerate it to make pudding. It is not necessary to heat all the materials together. This is the recipe of my own yogurt pudding. Pure yogurt is too thick and sour to make pudding. If you want to keep the pudding smooth and tender, I suggest adding some milk before making it, which will taste better.

Double milk pudding

Raw materials: yogurt 150g, pure milk 100g, sugar powder 20g, Geely powder 5g and water 50g.

1. Take a small bowl, add 5g of gelatine powder into 50g of clear water, stir and soak for 3 minutes until gelatine powder expands, and then microwave for 30 seconds until gelatine solution becomes transparent (if there is no microwave oven, put the small bowl into a soup pot and heat it in water until it melts);

2. Take another large bowl, pour pure milk and yogurt into the bowl, add sugar powder and stir evenly until the sugar is completely dissolved;

3. Finally, the heated gelatin solution is added into the milk bowl and fully stirred again to obtain pudding liquid;

4. Transfer the prepared pudding liquid to a glass pudding bottle, send it to the refrigerator for more than 4 hours, and take it out after the pudding is solidified.

PS:

1. Because yogurt is generally stored in cold storage, milk is generally stored at room temperature or cold storage. In order to melt sugar better, fine sugar powder is used here. If there is only coarse sugar at home, please pay more attention to stirring and let the sugar dissolve fully.
