Vertical scale disease—

(1) Symptoms: The body surface of the diseased fish is rough, the scales are tilted upward like pinecones, the scales are swollen at the base, and translucent or bloody exudates are accumulated in the skin. Apply a little pressure on the scales, and water-like liquid will be ejected from the scales, and the scales will also fall off. In severe cases, the fish's eyeballs will protrude, its abdomen will swell, it will swim slowly, it will be difficult to breathe, and it will die after 2-3 days.

(2) Etiology: Usually due to the negligence of the breeder, the dirt in the box accumulates over time and pollutes the water environment. The imbalance of nitrification system and the accumulation of physical and chemical impurities in water lead to the deterioration of water quality. A large number of water changes, the sense of urgency caused by the sudden drop of water temperature weakened the resistance of fish and caused diseases.

(3) Treatment: In order to prevent this fish disease, the filter cotton and filter materials in the system should be replaced or cleaned regularly on weekdays. Detect the pH value and nitrite concentration in water, pay attention to the transparency of water quality and the amount of suspended solids in water, keep the box clean, and achieve the preventive effect by controlling the water quality. When you get sick, you can use 2% salt solution and 3% baking soda to soak and wash 10 ~ 15 min or mash garlic to make 0.5% solution to soak and wash sick fish, which can achieve therapeutic effect. ?

Water model—

(1) Symptoms: There are gray fluffy hyphae visible to the naked eye on the body surface or wound of the fish, which makes the sick fish swim slowly, lose appetite and eventually lose weight and die.

(2) Treatment: If there is water mold in Yinlong, it can be soaked in 3% salt for 5 ~ 8 mim, or the sick fish can be soaked in 4/ 10000 surface alkaline solution for a long time. A more effective method is to add 0. 1 ~ 0.2 ppm malachite green, but malachite green has a dyeing effect, which will turn the items and water in the box into green. ?

White spot disease—

Symptoms (1): In the early stage, it will cause tissue proliferation and form cysts in fish body surface, fins, mouth, nose, cornea or gill tissue. In severe cases, the skin and sac of fish are covered with white spots, and even the body surface is covered with a white film. At this time, the mucus on the body surface increases, the fish becomes thin, swims late and pure, constantly rubs against other objects, floats on the water, or swims around the pool in groups, having difficulty breathing, losing appetite, and the fin base is congested, rotted and scales fall off. It is easy to cause cross infection and cause a large number of deaths.

(2) Etiology: The change of water temperature is the cause of (melon disease).

(3) Treatment: 0.2 ~ 0.4 ppm malachite green can be used for soaking and washing for 2 hours. It is better to soak sick fish in 2ppm mercurous nitrate solution. Because of the strong vitality and reproductive ability of melons, in order to prevent the eggs of melons in the box from breeding and causing future infection, the used utensils such as water tank and filtration system with white spot disease must be thoroughly disinfected at the same time, and the water tank can only be reused after being left in a waterless state for more than 7 days.

In fact, as long as more attention is paid in daily life, these diseases can be effectively prevented:

First-Water quality and water temperature requirements:

(1) Yinlong can adapt to weak acid to neutral water (pH value is between 6.5 and 7.5), and the hardness is required to be between 7 and 9 (soft water). The contents of nitrite and chlorine are preferably zero;

(2) The water quality should be clean, and the tap water should be fully aerated and softened;

(3) Generally, the water temperature should be above 22℃, and the optimum temperature is 24℃ ~ 28℃. If the water temperature is hot and cold, it is easy to make the silver dragon suffer from white spot disease, scale disease and water mold.

Second brother-requirements for feeding environment:

(1) The feeding water tank should be a large box with a length of 1.5m, so it is unnecessary to spread sand and grass to avoid scratching the fish. Because yinlong often swims in the upper and surface water, in order to prevent yinlong from jumping out of the water, it is necessary to add a net cover. When the young fish return to the box, it is best to add a certain amount of antibiotics, especially chlortetracycline and tetracycline, to the feeding water at a dose of 13mg/kg.

(2) Be careful when changing water daily, so as to avoid the silver dragon being frightened and damaged. At the beginning of water change, fresh water of 1/8 ~ 1/6 can be injected. If the water is changed too much, the water environment will change quickly, which will make the fish unable to adapt. If the water is changed too little, the deterioration of water quality will make the fins opaque and the eyeballs turbid, which will seriously lead to gill turnover. In general, the amount of water exchanged each time should be about 1/4 ~ 1/5 of the aquarium, and it should not exceed 1/3.

(3) Arowana likes light and must provide certain light. Small fish and shrimp can be used for feeding, and attention should be paid to balanced nutrition distribution. If the nutrition is single, symptoms such as back bending will appear after a long time, which will affect the beauty of fish and is not conducive to viewing.

(4) At regular intervals, certain antibiotics (such as chlortetracycline, tetracycline and oxytetracycline), vitamins and allicin are added to the feed to achieve the functions of resisting bacteria, diminishing inflammation and improving disease resistance. Don't be too full every time you feed. Arowana will stand upright after eating too much, which is not conducive to the healthy growth of fish.

Thirdly, arowana is a very spiritual fish. If it is kept for a long time, arowana will recognize its breeder and keep close relationship with it. Whenever the keeper approaches, the silver dragon will swim close to the keeper, and the keeper can gently touch the back of the head of the silver dragon with his hand.
