DIY faucet installation guide
Want to try to install your own faucet? Although this task is usually completed by a professional hydropower master, if you are interested, we will provide you with a simple step guide.

Preparatory work/about to start work

Before installing the faucet, be sure to turn off the main tap water valve at home to avoid the situation of non-stop water during installation.

Remove the old faucet.

Use a 250-30mm adjustable wrench or pipe wrench, rotate counterclockwise and remove the old faucet.

Buy a new faucet

Go to plumbing equipment or hardware store to buy a new faucet with the same specifications as the old faucet (usually 15mm or 20mm). Remember to buy a circle of raw materials at the same time.

Install a new faucet.

Hold the faucet with your left hand, and wrap the raw material belt around the thread of the faucet clockwise for several times (note: the direction of the raw material belt must be opposite to the thread direction of the faucet, otherwise it may lead to water leakage). Screw the faucet wrapped with the raw material belt clockwise at the joint of the water pipe and tighten it with a wrench.

Test faucet

Open the main tap water valve and check whether the faucet is installed firmly and whether there is water leakage.
