Teach table tennis fans the skills of star coaches.
China Overseas Chinese reporter Lu reported in Palo Alto on July 6th that Lu and her party, the head coach of women's table tennis in China, were invited by the South Bay Table Tennis Association to teach skills to dozens of table tennis fans at the Palo Alto Community Table Tennis Club on the afternoon of the 6th.

Lu trained and brought up countless outstanding female table tennis players in China, and made great contributions to China men's table tennis in major international competitions in 1970s and 1980s. This time, as the team leader, he came to the United States with the China table tennis delegation to participate in the 40th anniversary celebration of table tennis diplomacy between China and the United States.

In the afternoon, Lu, wearing a red jersey, taught the ball skills patiently and meticulously on the table tennis court of the club, without any big-name shelves.

In an hour and a half, Lu pointed out the importance of mastering basic skills from how to grip, serve, catch, chop and spike.

When he coached Ariel Hsing, a young female athlete in China, he paid special attention to her running steps and patiently showed her how to master the steps of catching the ball sideways.

When answering questions from table tennis fans, Lu warned parents not to stipulate how many hours they should train for their children every day. The key is to have the right movements and postures, as long as the method is right, you can get twice the result with half the effort.

He also picked up the racket from time to time and personally confronted the young players, which deeply touched many parents present and benefited the young players who loved table tennis.
