Why are there black spots on goldfish? Are you sick?
First, feed less.

People who have just started to raise goldfish are always afraid that goldfish will not have enough to eat. They feed them several times a day, and goldfish seldom eat under hypoxia. In this way, the remaining bait will rot in the water, further aggravating the anoxic state. Therefore, feeding goldfish should master the principle of less times and as much as you eat. If you don't eat, you won't be fed.

Feed it once a day and eat it within 5 minutes each time. Never feed more.

You can't die without feeding, just grow slowly.

You can raise a small amount of aquatic plants in the fish tank, and the green algae in the water is enough for goldfish to eat.

Second, pay attention to clean water quality at ordinary times, but don't change water too often, just change it once every three days. Use water that has been left in the air for more than three days, and change the original water of13 every time. Small tanks can be changed more.

Third, goldfish is a kind of high-oxygen fish, which is easy to be oxygenated. Observe more at ordinary times. When the fish floats, pay attention to proper oxygenation or water change.

Fourth, personal experience.

After changing the water every time, sprinkle some salt on the goldfish and sterilize them.

It's hot now, so don't expose the fish tank on the balcony. If there is less water in the tank, the temperature will easily rise a lot, which will make the fish sick. Goldfish are prone to problems this season. A few days ago, my fish was sunburned and died in ten days.

Common diseases of goldfish

First, common diseases and diagnosis of goldfish

The common diseases of goldfish mainly include gill rot, scale disease, water mold, trypanosomiasis, cucurbit disease, dactylosis, ichthyosis and non-parasitic fish disease chlorine poisoning. The diagnosis of the disease is mainly based on the symptoms and visual inspection.

People with gill rot have rotten gill filaments.

In patients with vertical scaling disease, scales stand up like pine balls and are full of exudates.

In case of water mold, white hairs (outer hyphae) can be seen by naked eyes in the late stage of body surface injury.

When the melon is sick, white spots and small bubbles will appear on the body surface of goldfish. Goldfish suffering from fish lice disease are impatient in the water, and there are many flat fish lice with different rice grains.

The diagnosis of wheel disease and toe disease, because the worm is too small to be seen by naked eyes and the focus has no obvious symptoms, must be diagnosed by microscope. The former sampled gill and skin mucus, while the latter sampled gill (a little gill filament), put it on a glass slide, add some water, cover the glass slide, and then observe it under a low-power microscope, and a large number of worms can be seen. Chlorine poisoning is often caused by excessive injection of tap water that has not been dechlorinated, showing the characteristics of a large number of deaths.

Second, preventive measures for common diseases of goldfish

Goldfish are kept in cement ponds or tanks, and tap water is used as water source. Disease pathogens are mainly brought in by newly bought goldfish and live bait (such as fish worms). So the newly bought goldfish can be soaked with the following drugs: copper sulfate, 8ppm, 15 minutes or so. Bleaching powder, 10ppm, about 20 minutes. Potassium permanganate, 20ppm, 15 minutes or so. Salt, 3 ~ 4%, about 5 minutes. Malachite green, 10ppm, 20 ~ 30min. The surface alkaline mixture of trichlorfon (90%) was 5 ppm, 3ppm and 10 ~ 15min. Before feeding live bait, it must be washed with clear water, and copper sulfate or potassium permanganate can be used to wash it properly to kill parasites.

Secondly, because the pathogens of water mold and scale disease are conditional pathogens, it is easy to invade the fish after the scales fall off and the skin is damaged, so we must be careful not to damage the surface of the fish.

In addition, water quality management should be strengthened. Change the water injection rate regularly (every hour), and the change rate at a time shall not exceed 1/3. Keeping the water fresh can effectively control bacterial diseases, such as gill rot and vertical scale disease. According to personal experience, the color of fish water is slightly green, which can ensure sufficient dissolved oxygen and good color of goldfish and supplement nutrients in plankton.

Third, the treatment of common diseases of goldfish

Practice has proved that it is effective to treat goldfish diseases by soaking and washing. That is, it is more effective to treat "critical" goldfish with high concentration drugs in time. The soaking drugs are shown in the following table, and the drug concentration and time are the same as those in the above method.

Therapeutic drugs for common diseases of goldfish

Rotten gill bleaching powder

Vertical scale bleaching powder

Myxomycete malachite green

Wheel disease copper sulfate

Melon disease malachite green

dipterex

Fish louse trichlorfon

Finally, pay attention to water quality and water temperature. Generally, goldfish are fine.
