Which vitamin has whitening effect?
Vitamin c can whiten the skin.

: principle:

First of all, there are many factors that determine whether our skin is black or white, such as heredity, sun exposure, endocrine hormone level and so on, but generally speaking, the color of skin mainly depends on the content of melanin in the skin.

The source of melanin production lies in tyrosinase. Tyrosine in melanocytes undergoes a series of chemical and oxidation reactions to form true melanin, which reaches the skin surface. If the skin metabolism is not smooth, it will lead to a large number of pigment precipitation and aggregation, skin color deepening or spot formation, resulting in uneven skin, which will make people black.

Therefore, inhibiting tyrosinase biosynthesis is the key to whitening. Vitamin C can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, block the production of melanin, has certain antioxidant effect, and can reduce the formed melanin to colorless melanin precursor, thus improving the dullness of skin and achieving the effect of whitening.

Vitamin C: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), also known as L- ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin and is rich in fruits and vegetables. It plays a regulatory role in redox metabolic reaction, and the lack of it will cause scurvy. Under normal circumstances, most of vitamin C is decomposed into oxalic acid or combined with sulfuric acid to generate ascorbic acid -2- sulfuric acid, and the other part can be directly excreted from urine.
