Do you know what you need to pay attention to besides cold water and wind?
For a woman who has just given birth to a baby, confinement is equivalent to a chance to be born again. It is very important for the maternal body to do a good job of confinement. Therefore, women must pay great attention to lifestyle and eating habits during the second month!

The traditional confinement of the older generation says that you can't take a bath, wash your hair or brush your teeth. Don't get out of bed, don't eat fruits and vegetables! All kinds of can't? No, scientific confinement is the king of conditioning the body!

So during confinement, besides cold water and wind, what else should we pay attention to?

Confinement is really annoying. Fortunately, living conditions have improved now. There is air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. As long as the proper room temperature is maintained, the parturient can make the confinement refreshing and comfortable.

1. In summer, the delivery room can turn on the air conditioner or fan appropriately to cool down the room temperature, but be careful not to blow at the parturient. Keep the room temperature at 25-28℃, and open the window for ventilation every morning and evening 10 minutes. Wear cotton thin long-sleeved clothes.

In the cold winter, in addition to maintaining proper indoor temperature and humidity, pregnant women should also remember to wear cotton socks, thick-soled soft shoes, prepare a nightgown, put it on in time for nursing in the middle of the night to avoid catching cold, and wear underwear and postpartum corset pants with slimming effect, which is conducive to the recovery of uterine position and postpartum cultivation, and wear a pair of extended high-waisted pants to cover the whole abdomen.

2. Pay attention to keep warm in summer. You can't sleep on a bamboo mat that is too cold. You can choose straw mats or linen mats, and remember to scrub them with warm water every day to keep them clean and hygienic.

Be careful not to make the bedding too thick in winter. To choose soft and breathable bedding, change it once every two weeks1-and don't sleep in a soft bed.

Mother should keep herself clean, brush her teeth, wash her hair and take a bath. But take a bath, keep skin pores unobstructed and sweat normally. Pay attention to the cleanliness of vulva when taking a bath, don't douche it, and don't take a bath in the basin, otherwise it will easily cause infection. Be sure to dry your body after taking a shower and blow dry your hair with a hair dryer.

In winter, due to the cold confinement, many new mothers basically stay in the warm bed and rarely move around. At this time, they can soak their feet in hot water 15-25 minutes, which can activate nerve endings and is beneficial to blood circulation.

4. Also, it hurts your eyes to watch less mobile TV during the second month! It really depends, and the time should be controlled within half an hour.

Walking around the house for a week after delivery is beneficial to postpartum recovery and prevention of postpartum intestinal adhesion, but the time should not be too long. In case of fatigue!

5. Diet and nutrition should be balanced, and fruits and vegetables should not be less. Eat more nutritious, high-calorie and digestible foods, because postpartum multiple body weakness and blood stasis can't eat cold food. When you eat fruit, you can squeeze it into juice and drink it after heating. Or cut the fruit into pieces, cook it in a pot, eat it with residue and water, and don't overeat, so as not to recover it in the future.
