Open Jin Baocheng's resume, and you will find the heavyweight events he explained over the years: 1990 11th Beijing Asian Games, 1993 1st East Asian Games, 1994 Australian World Gymnastics Championship, 1995 World Boxing Championship, 1995 World F. 1997 world youth football championship, 1999 world gymnastics championship, 1999 world women's volleyball grand prix, 2000 world women's volleyball grand prix, 200/kloc-0 world university games, 200/kloc-0 world gymnastics championship and 2002 world women's basketball championship.
These wonderful events, like his vivid footprints in sports commentary career, are silently telling the indissoluble bond between this famous sports commentator in China and sports commentary.
Become attached to sports since childhood.
Some people say, "The sports commentator himself is a sports enthusiast." Jin Baocheng is no exception. His love for sports began when he was a toddler.
My mother graduated from the Chinese Department of the University, and my father is high flyers from the Department of Physical Education. Probably because of my father, I loved sports since I was a child. Soon after I learned to walk, my father often took me to watch various games: football, basketball, volleyball and badminton. I still remember clearly, because I was too young, every time my father took me to Hangzhou Lighting Stadium to watch a basketball game, I was afraid of being hurt by the crowd, so I rode on his neck to watch the game. Later, when I was a little older, I went to the game alone. On one occasion, I went to see the match between China badminton national team and Indonesian national team held in Hangzhou Gymnasium in the evening. At that time, it was the hottest time in summer, but the museum was afraid of affecting the competition and required to be closed, so the doors and windows were closed and people were stuffy and hot inside. Moreover, at that time, badminton implemented the service scoring system, and the rhythm was particularly slow. At the end of the game, there were fewer and fewer people in the museum. I tried to watch the game, but I was so sleepy that I fell asleep unconsciously.
After I went to school, I fell in love with playing basketball, from primary school to junior high school, from class team to school team, and then I was selected for the Hangzhou Junior Basketball Training Team. At that time, I knew how to play basketball all day, and I thought playing basketball well was what I wanted most. Until one day, I met an old man, and what he said to me completely woke me up: "It is better to make great efforts to govern if you know how to be good", which changed my life track from then on.
Fortunately, Zhang Zhi abandoned the piano to learn broadcasting.
"If I don't become an announcer today, I will probably become an accordion player who is active on the stage." Jin Baocheng said with emotion, "When I was young, I liked literature and art, especially reading aloud and playing the accordion. In the hard life of the Great Northern Wilderness in the next three years, it was the accordion that brought many colors to my life. " The ten-year history of practicing the piano not only constitutes the keynote of Jin Baocheng's future life, but also makes him lucky to meet the founder of China Sports Commentary-Teacher Zhang Zhi of China.
When I was in the Great Northern Wilderness, I often hid under the covers and listened to china national radio's sports programs. I admired Zhang Zhi's explanation. At that time, after I joined the troupe, my biggest hobby was to imitate several sports broadcasts by Zhang Zhilai. Later, he returned to Hangzhou and 1978 was admitted to Hangzhou Radio Station to become an announcer. But when I became a monk halfway, I always felt that my background was insufficient and there was no teacher to guide me.
I was still learning accordion at that time. I accompanied a lot of chorus music on the radio at that time. Once, CCTV came to Hangzhou to record children's songs. Because I was not satisfied with the previous accompaniment effect, Zhejiang Satellite TV recommended me to try recording. As a result, I passed at once at the beginning, and a female teacher of CCTV still had doubts about my ability. After listening to my performance, I was deeply impressed. After we met, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this teacher turned out to be the wife of Zhang Zhi, whom I always admired. In this way, I was lucky enough to know Zhang Zhi. 1980 went to Beijing to study Zhang Zhi at his own expense. Teacher Zhang Zhi happily accepted me as an apprentice and taught me to practice oral sketches, tongue twisters and live broadcasts. Under his guidance, I have more and more confidence in myself.
In order to concentrate on sports commentary, I reluctantly gave up learning accordion. My father told me that since you became a sports announcer, you should concentrate, and playing the piano again will affect your work. So that night, I carefully cleaned the accordion, closed the piano cover and put the piano in the cupboard. I couldn't help crying the moment I closed the lid. After all, this piano has been with me for ten years.
Known as "the first gymnastics commentary in China"
Mastering methods and hard work are two necessary conditions for success. Jin Baocheng has always believed that God is fair to everyone. If you want to gain more than others, you have to pay more.
In the early 1990s, when I was sorting out my interpretation files, I found that I had explained 25 events, but there was no gymnastics. If one day I leave the studio and don't explain gymnastics, I will regret it for the rest of my life. So I decided to win the gymnastics championship. But gymnastics is the most difficult sport in explanation, and it is called "Mount Everest in sports explanation". Gymnastics is divided into men's gymnastics and women's gymnastics, and the competition rules and technical decomposition of these two sub-projects are quite different. Therefore, when explaining gymnastics, coaches, referees and other experts are often needed as consultants, and what the commentator can do at this time is to introduce the names of the players and report the final scores, and nothing else can be done.
In order to prepare for the World Gymnastics Championships held in Tianjin from 65438 to 0999, I prepared the information about this competition one year in advance. Now that I have accepted this task, I must do it well. I think I can win the' Everest' in this sports review. On the eve of the competition, I stayed at home all day, looked through the explanation videos of previous gymnastics champions, stared at the videos for 7 or 8 hours every day, and almost memorized all the movements and rules of gymnastics. In this way, I can basically break down the movements accurately in the competition and give corresponding scores according to the quality of the movements.
The review was very successful. Afterwards, CCTV Sports Center and Tianjin TV Station sent letters of commendation to Zhejiang Taiwan, praising Jin Baocheng's outstanding performance in this commentary. In 2000, the reporter found this letter of commendation from Tianjin TV Station: "... It is particularly worth mentioning that Comrade Jin Baocheng successfully completed the difficult gymnastics commentary with first-class professional level and excellent professional knowledge, which won high praise from people inside and outside the circle, won the honor of being the first gymnastic commentator in China, and made valuable contributions to the success of the TV broadcast of this championship.
Quality of sports commentators
Sports commentary is a very advanced art, and sports commentators are not as simple as most people think. Commentary is the embodiment of personality and the release of the charm of the narrator. In the process of explaining the event, he will inevitably integrate his many intellectual and perceptual understandings of the event. For this, Jin Baocheng has a deep understanding.
For example, in the past, many people didn't know what the five-second violation meant when the basketball game was broadcast live, but now with the increasing popularity of TV, sports events and public contact are more frequent, and the audience has almost become experts and are familiar with these rules. The progress of the times also puts forward higher professional requirements for sports commentators.
Some time ago, when I was giving a lecture to the students of Beijing Broadcasting Institute, I put forward the topic of "the basic qualities that a sports commentator should have". In my opinion, as a qualified sports commentator, he has at least the following three qualities: the first is the policy level. This is very important, because the sports commentator himself works in the media, and what he said actually represents a media point of view. Sports commentators are prone to make big mistakes if they don't have a strong sense of the overall situation in their minds when explaining the game. The consequences of his spread are also quite serious. The second is the education level. A good sports commentator should have a considerable cultural level, which can not only prevent you from making some common-sense knowledge mistakes in the process of explanation, but also enrich the expression of explanation. The third is professional knowledge, which is a necessary condition for a sports commentator. However, it is best to form a pyramid-shaped knowledge structure in mastering sports professional knowledge. Because it is impossible for every commentator to understand all the events, it is still necessary to make adjustments according to the actual situation and needs of individuals.
There are bitter and sweet explanations.
Sports commentary brings Jin Baocheng not only passionate experience that others have never had, but also many little-known bitterness.
In others' eyes, a sports commentator is a relaxed and comfortable job, making a living with only one mouth. I have been a sports commentator for so many years and have been to many countries and places. Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Belgium, Spain, etc. I have traveled almost all over Europe, but I have gone abroad so many times, and I almost stayed in the hotel room except finishing the task of explaining the competition seriously. Maybe I'm bored. After doing this job, I have more opportunities to see the local customs around the world than ordinary people, but I personally think that my hometown Hangzhou is already beautiful, and I can't get enough of the West Lake all my life.
Being a sports commentator also makes me uncomfortable. I just finished a game, but I couldn't get the understanding of the fans and said some unpleasant things, which made me feel bad. For example, I once explained the match between Zhejiang Wanma Basketball Team and Xinjiang Team in Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Center. Because the TV signals at that time were enjoyed by Zhejiang and Xinjiang, and Xinjiang is a minority area, I must explain the game objectively and fairly, and I can't be too partial to the Zhejiang home team. Although I am a wanma fan myself, I really hope wanma can win the race. But my status as a commentator always reminds me to pay attention. Sometimes, it is very painful to see that your favorite team is not performing well and you have to suppress your feelings and control your emotions. So on the way to the explanation, I will also say that the Xinjiang team did well and so on. But when I said this, Zhejiang fans didn't buy it. They thought that as a commentator from Zhejiang and Taiwan, I should stand on the side of Zhejiang Wanma team, which could not improve the morale of the opposing team at all. So when I encounter misunderstanding and don't understand, I can only swallow my grievances alone.
