After laser freckle removal, there will be some burning sensation or slight bleeding in the affected area, which is normal, and then scab skin will appear, which will fall off in about 7- 10 days. Remember not to scrape it off with your fingers, and let the scabbed skin fall off on its own. The skin will return to normal after about two weeks of laser freckle removal. When the scab falls off, the treatment area will be pink, some people will be brown after 2-3 weeks, and most of them will begin to fade after 1-2 months.
After treatment, you can still wash your face as usual, dry it and then apply a thin layer of cream until the scab falls off. Do not use other products or cosmetics. If there is redness and discomfort in the laser freckle area, you can use ice. After the scab skin falls off, it is not necessary to apply cream, but sunscreen oil (SPF 15 or above) should be applied indoors to prevent the damage of ultraviolet UVA/UVB.
After laser freckle removal, the treatment site is very sensitive to sunlight, so it takes 3 to 6 months to avoid sunlight, and try to use sunscreen or umbrella to improve the treatment effect. 1-2 weeks later, go back to the clinic for follow-up examination. If there is any abnormality, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.
