Controllable: For example, you can move your body, blink, inhale and hold your breath.

Meditation comes from the controllable part of our body. For example, when you bend down and reach your limit, your mind will stop at this time. Many poses in yoga require you to try your best to reach the limits of your body. After reaching the limit of your body, your consciousness will enter the state of perception and the realm of Zen. The yam in pranayama has another meaning: infinite extension, infinite extension. When a posture reaches infinite extension, it enters the state of Zen. Practicing asana requires the limits of the body. After physical exercise, many teachers will set up some candlelight meditation, OM meditation, breathing meditation and so on. The principle is the same. Candlelight meditation is with your eyes. Keep your eyes open and don't blink. In fact, as long as you master the principle, you can master meditation without candles, open your eyes without candles, and try not to blink. When the controllable system is uncontrollable, your eyes open for a while, and you need to blink to protect your eyes when you are tired, but you control him not to blink, then your thinking stops, and there is no thinking at this time. The practice of meditation is actually to use the controllable parts of the body to cut off thinking, and so is breathing. Many teachers will teach exhaling, inhaling and holding your breath. Let's experiment. Take a deep breath and hold your breath. The moment you hold your breath, your mind goes into a vacuum and you can't think. I entered Zen.
When thinking is cut off, there is an energy that automatically flows into perception. Perception and thinking can hardly coexist. When there is too much thinking, perception will disappear.
Zen is in a state of perception, which is wise. A child or a madman who has no consciousness of thinking. Children and lunatics have low-level thinking and have not yet started, and their perception is ignorant and unwise. Zen is the high unity of perception and wisdom.
Thinking is a difficult content to explain, involving many things that cannot be expressed in words. Many books say that meditation can't be said and can't be said. But our ancient Laozi said: "Tao can be Tao, but not extraordinary." In other words, you can still say what you can't say, even if what you say is not the original thing, you still have to experience it and try your best to explain it. There is a very important word in yoga practice: Zen. The word meditation comes from Sanskrit Zen. In ancient times, the word was translated into Zen, which was spread to China by the founder of Dharma in ancient times and then to Japan by China. In Japan, it is called Zen.

When a person is far away from consciousness and in a state of "missing", his mind is completely divorced from his body, and his perception loses its ability to perceive. Pay attention to pedestrians on the road, and you will find that, especially in big cities, when you observe them, everyone is not walking. When he walks, his eyes and movements are taken to another destination in his mind. It is difficult to walk easily. This state of walking is to pull his mind out of his body. If you observe the old people exercising in the park in the early morning or at dusk, you will find that their walking state is completely different from that during the day. In order to walk, they move harmoniously. When a person overthinks, the mind leaves the body, and the body and mind split, leading to various diseases.
Zen is practicing yoga. Through a series of methods, your body and mind are reunited and enter a state of perception, which cannot be expressed in words. Therefore, the word Zen is used to describe this state, which is the purpose and effect of practicing yoga.
