How to plan and prepare for going to Cologne Island?
I went to travel during the 11th holiday and wanted to find a place with few people, so I finally chose Cologne Island in the Philippines, which proved to be a very correct decision. There are not many tourists here, and their popularity in China is not as good as that in Mint Island and Boracay (I was asked several times on the island why there are many tourists in China these days, and I said it was because of the National Day, but in my opinion, there are really not many people in China). Commercialization is not serious, residents are warm and simple, and services in all aspects are comfortable. Write a super practical strategy while I still have memories, hoping to introduce this beautiful island to more people who love it, so let's start.

The information required to apply for a visa is as follows:

(1) Original passport

(2) a copy of the first page of the passport (that is, the page with photos in the passport)

(3) 3.5x4.5 2 color photos of documents with white background (the photo studio outside said that everyone knows how to take passport photos).

(4) Print two copies of A4 paper on the front and back of the visa application form (fill in the form manually, with the applicant's signature in Chinese at the bottom right, and all others in English and numbers).

(5) Copy of ID card (copy the front and back on a piece of A4 paper)

(6) Choose one of the two items: the original bank statement (balance requirement 1-20000, just go to the bank counter and ask for a visa); Proof of assets, if couples want to use proof of assets, they need to provide a copy of marriage certificate.

Mail the above information to the seller and pay the visa fee. After the visa is sent back, be sure to check it against the picture below. Because there is something wrong with the information, it is better to find it early and deal with it early, so as not to affect the itinerary: whether the photo on the front of the visa form is my own, whether there is a steel seal, whether the personal information (passport number, name, date of birth, gender) on the back page of the visa is consistent with the passport page, whether there is a consulate seal and consular signature, and whether the visa is valid.

About money:

Each person is allowed to bring 10000PHP and $5000 at most. We plan to exchange some US dollars and pesos in China first, and the Bank of China will make an appointment to exchange them one week in advance.

After arriving at Manila airport, it is more cost-effective to directly exchange US dollars for pesos than to directly exchange RMB.

The exchange rate changes frequently, and the exchange rates at different counters in different places or even in the same place are different, so you need to pay attention to the inquiry yourself.

Preparation before departure:

At least two sets of swimsuits (otherwise it won't work)

Quick-drying bath towel (it will be very cold ashore)

Snorkeling equipment (goggles and diving shoes, if rented, are expensive and may be unsanitary, so it is best to bring them yourself)

Mobile phone waterproof bag (it is best to bring it into the water, and the rented GoPro color saturation is not high)

I don't need to say more about all kinds of sunscreen equipment. The charger of the two items does not need to be equipped with a conversion plug.

Buy tickets at least one month in advance. Pay attention to Cebu Airlines. They often have discounted tickets, far less than half price.

Route:

Palawan satisfies all your fantasies and watches the sunken ships at the bottom of the sea? , the eye of the devil? Swimming with mermaids? ♀? Overnight/barbecue party on uninhabited island? , seafood? ……

Going to Palawan and Cologne Island is definitely a stop not to be missed.

Quiet and uninhabited beaches, jelly-colored seas, fireflies and starry sky are intertwined. Cologne Island is simply a microcosm of heaven, a dream "Utopia on the Sea".

: Domestic City-Manila-Busanga (Cologne Airport)

Starting from China, you need to transfer to Manila to take a small plane to Cologne Airport. You can ask the hotel if there is a free airport shuttle bus. It takes about 30 minutes from the airport to the town.

Highlights of Cologne Island:

Cold and warm lake: the clearest sea water in the Philippines, and the biggest feature here is water. Where fresh water meets salt water, the water temperature changes alternately between cold and hot. Diving here, you can really feel the magic of cold left hand and warm right hand.

Coral Park: As the last secret place in Asia, the seabed here maintains one of the best coral coverage rates in the world.

Look at the sunken ships at the bottom of the sea: Cologne is a world-class shipwreck diving resort, and more than 20 Japanese naval warships sunk by the United States during World War II are under this water.

Devil's Eye: This is an excellent underwater photography location, in mint-colored seawater. It is listed as a place where free divers must punch in.

Swimming with the mermaid: dugong, also known as manatee. The north of Cologne is one of the few places in the world where you can get close to the wild dugong. Through scuba diving or snorkeling, you can see the "mermaid" grazing in the soil, sleeping stupidly and entering the water in a perfect duck style.

All-night barbecue party in Bao Dao: Spend the night in uninhabited island, live in wooden house or tent, and there is often the Milky Way on the island. You can lie on the beach with your friends, listen to the sound of the waves and look up at the stars.

Seafood gluttony: a gourmet paradise for gourmets. Cologne is rich in seafood, all kinds of groupers, lobsters, shrimps, and many treasures you have never seen before.
