What is the working principle of temperature probe?
Working principle of body temperature probe The probe for body temperature measurement contains a high-precision thermistor, and its impedance changes with the change of external temperature. The instrument converts the impedance change of thermistor into electrical signal, and the temperature value is obtained by calculation.

The temperature probe is placed on the heat transfer surface to conduct the temperature, just like a thermometer. If the probe is not properly connected to the body surface, or the probe is loose due to the patient's movement, the temperature value will be incorrect. In order to avoid this situation, it is suggested to stick the temperature probe firmly under the patient's armpit with two tapes. One tape will stick to the skin, and the other is used to fix the lead of the probe to prevent the probe from falling off when pulling. It is best to measure the temperature in the cavity.

Cleaning and maintenance of body temperature probe In daily maintenance, sponge can be soaked with soapy water or other suitable cleaning agents, and then dried. The probe can be disinfected with anhydrous alcohol. Do not immerse the probe cable in water or scrub it with any abrasive. The heat-resistant temperature of the body temperature probe does not exceed 60℃, and it is forbidden to use high temperature and high pressure for disinfection. The storage environment temperature of the probe and cable is between -20℃ and +60℃. When not in use, it can be hung or laid flat to prevent damage. It is forbidden to bend and twist cables strongly.
