Step 2: Get a Huaxia bank card and convert it into euros (Figure 3).
The main reason for pushing this card is that the first order for overseas cash withdrawal is free of charge every month.
(If you bring a visa to apply for a card, you can avoid the fee for five times. )
Once before, the euro was not enough, and the Agricultural Bank of China took 1000 euro and deducted 80-90 RMB, which is really a big sum. It is really convenient to apply for this card.
This card is called "Longxing Wuzhou". Remember not to make mistakes.

This store is widely distributed, and many of them can be cashed out by UnionPay.
Deutsche bank can't serve, and its attitude is not very good.
Step 3: Download the necessary applications.
Maps: Google Maps
Although Baidu map is my favorite, Google is still very useful abroad.
When I was looking for a bank in Cologne.
Baidu map search is far less than Google.
Positioning in a far place, walking for a long time, the direction has been drifting.
Later, I gave up using Google and found that it was actually near 250m m.

It's all spoken by local German students. Just watch VRT by bus.
Select Trips(AtoB) and then enter your departure place and arrival place to automatically jump out of the fastest bus route.
And you can choose to display bus stops (it is recommended to use Google query software with its own map, which is too small to navigate and not as convenient as Googlemap).
DB can also query the fare at the time point and so on (usage is similar to skip it, the same as VRT)
Gourmet: Yelp (German public comment)

This software mainly recommends some distinctive restaurants, all of which are commented by foreigners, which can be viewed according to the translation.
You can also choose the price order (one euro is the cheapest and four euros is the most expensive) so you don't have to be afraid of confusing prices.
Another advantage is that you can't see the menu when you eat. You can point out the dishes you want to eat to the clerk according to the customer evaluation pictures on the app, which saves a lot of trouble in ordering food (ordering food is the hardest! )
Language: A translator &; German assistant
There is a translator that can take photos and translate directly (such as taking menu files), but it must be clear that not only can not recognize all the words, but some words can also be translated one by one, and most of the contents can be understood.
German assistants must be used with care. If you use it too much, you will be charged. It was used several times before for free, mainly for accurate translation of keywords (generally used by German learners).
Traffic enquiry: meinvodafone
This is only for people who use Vodafone cards! ! I don't know about other operators.
When using traffic, you can look at your phone bill balance and traffic balance.
If you open the app while using Wi-Fi, a very complicated page will pop up, and you need to enter a lot of things, so it is not recommended to query when using Wi-Fi.
We have used up1g. Don't be afraid to use unlimited 2G.
Preparatory work abroad:
Both buses and trains can choose to buy weekly/monthly tickets.
Decide what type to buy according to the different time of your trip.
You can display this ticket in the designated area without restriction.
Key point 1. You will be given two pieces of paper when you buy the ticket, and you should take both with you.
If you can't get it out when you check in, it will be regarded as evasion. A high fine will leave a bad credit record.
The train can only take the local train. If you want to take an IC or something, you have to buy a ticket.
Group tickets will be launched on weekends, and up to five people can use the German train (local train) for free for 24 hours, which is very cost-effective! You can choose to buy this if you want to make a long-distance day trip.

Germany is famous for its big trotters &; Sausage and beer
The taste is salty, and I like to attach a potato to everything, which is also very large.
Generally, a person orders a dish, such as pizza, and eats it by himself.
If a group of people want to order a lot of dishes and taste a little, they can tell the waiter.
They will give more plates (don't be embarrassed, in fact, they understand cultural differences)
Although drinks are expensive, you must order drinks. The general tip is 5- 10%.
Remember to have afternoon tea/dessert/ice cream.

Weather suit: bring coat+umbrella.
Germany belongs to a place with a large temperature difference between day and night, so it is enough to wear a thin coat in the morning and evening.
Generally, it doesn't rain, so the weather forecast is not accurate. You can take a lighter umbrella just in case.
Accommodation: airbnb is looking for a hotel reservation to find a hotel.
The hotel star standard here is not comparable to that in China. Remember to bring your own slippers, toothbrush and ointment. They don't provide disposable goods (for environmental protection).
Choose a good location when choosing accommodation (public security is the most important)
Do more raiders in advance and see if you find anything scary.
Germany is relatively safe, and people have good English, so they can communicate (French/Italian English is not very good).
If you have any questions, they will patiently answer you again and again (they are super careful every time they ask German students questions and will not be impatient with idiot questions).
Germans are also very polite and pay great attention to the classification of sanitary waste (another post next time)
