What sports are there in the Olympic Games?
Now the Olympic Organizing Committee advocates streamlining the number of Olympic events, so not every Olympic event is exactly the same.

There are 302 events in Beijing Olympic Games, including men's event 165, women's event 127 and mixed event 10. The new events in the 2008 Olympic Games include men's and women's BMX, women's 3000m steeplechase and men's and women's10km swimming. In fencing, the men's foil and women's epee team events were cancelled, and the women's foil and women's sabre team events were added. In addition, the men's and women's table tennis doubles competition was changed to men's and women's team competition.

There are 28 events in Beijing Olympic Games, namely: Taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, shooting, archery, triathlon, sailing, windsurfing and volleyball. Judo, wrestling, water sports, modern pentathlon, baseball, equestrian track and field, rowing, badminton, softball, basketball, football, boxing, kayaking, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, weightlifting, handball and hockey.
