As shown in the above picture, the unlocked place has been marked. Push the batten in the direction of the blue arrow to take out the cross batten. The key to unlocking is that the four grooves on this surface all face in the same direction. In fact, this kongming lock has two sides and four grooves all facing the same direction.

2. After removing the cross-shaped batten above, the remaining shape is shown in the figure below.

3. There is no difficulty in the next disassembly, just dismantle them one by one along the wooden strips on the side.

4. The following figure shows the fully disassembled slats. You need to put the same pieces of wood together and wait for the later recovery for reference. The four battens below are two groups of cross battens in the same direction. The other eight can be assembled at will.

5. When restoring, make a cross first, then put the remaining eight pieces together one by one in a natural way, and finally put another set of crosses together.
