YG and Sean evaristo, the editor-in-chief of A Journey to Luhan, explored the road of dance together.
As the founder of American Sports Lifestyle Choreography Studio, Shaun Evaristo is not only an excellent dancer, but also a new generation of pioneer choreographers in the world, and one of the most talented choreographers in the world.

He has performed on the same stage with O 'Marion, vanessa hudgens and Justin Bieber, and choreographed for famous Korean groups such as J.Lewis, NLT, Travis Garland, Big Bang, 2Ne 1 and Se7en.

Sean & Sun Big Bang

Sean & Justin Bieber

Like Parris Goebel, he is the royal choreographer of YG Entertainment and the early choreographer of Bigbang. As we all know, the choreography of Wedding Dress is Sean's work.

Just last year, all the dances in Lu Han's new album MV, as well as the choreography of the concert tour, were the works of Shaun.

Interestingly, the choreography of this song is shaun's work.

The most powerful dance can be the explosion of scalp pins and needles, or it can be a seemingly random but deep skill. All movements are random and natural. Let's see how smooth and natural Sean's dance is.

Dance is a kind of heartfelt love.

All the dance expressions are so natural and smooth, because Sean loved dancing since he was a child.

When Shaun5 was about 5 years old, he saw Michael Jackson dancing on TV and jumped up with him. Later, he and his peers in the family formed a "dance group", which met and danced together every Friday, and his mother would cook delicious pasta for them.

Such a beautiful picture has been growing with him. Later, more and more people joined their dance companies and took part in performances to gain some fame. With the support of parents, 18-year-old Shaun decided to make dancing his lifelong dream.

Constantly innovating and exploring in dance

From practicing dance in the garage to creating the first dance company Gen2, and then joining the company, Sean worked hard in the dance industry year after year out of love. Finally, he came to LA, the United States, where his dream thrived, and continued his efforts: cooperating with YG Entertainment in South Korea, teaching, choreographing, judging and so on with various superstars around the world. Later, I founded Movement Lifestyle with my brother CJ (also the world's top choreographer) and officially started my dance career.

Sports lifestyle

As a company, Shaun didn't change his name to Movement Managenment or Movement X, but he thinks that Movement Lifestyle is not just a company, everyone has their own way of life. The people dancing here may be DJ, designer, painter or dancer. They dance for different purposes. They just want to do what they want to do here, not necessarily what they call dancing, but perhaps just an expression of lifestyle. Just like Nike started from running, the sports lifestyle started from dancing, but it surpassed it.

Sean has an indescribable temperament, which Langmei calls pure. Because everyone who has attended Shaun's class will be very grateful to him, and will say that Shaun has changed his understanding and view of dance, and even moved. Sean himself is very modest. He thinks I'm just sharing happiness, we're just dancing! But it is because of Sean's pure temperament that the classroom is always filled with joy. When you find happiness in dancing, maybe you will break through your bottleneck unconsciously.

Even his good brother CJ once said that he was deeply influenced by Sean in dancing.

Sean is not only a great dancer and choreographer, but also an explorer in the dance world. He developed Hip hop choreography with lyrics and emotional expression as the theme, which can be said to be a dancer who influenced the development of dance style, opened up a new way of organically combining dance with business, and made many talented dancers have a broader living space and got better development and dissemination.

He is like a pioneer in the dance world, constantly learning, constantly trying and constantly innovating. He proved to the world that dance choreography is not only used for commercial performances, but also an artistic expression.

Shaun is always grateful for his past experiences, whether good or bad, because his inspiration for choreography basically comes from his past life experiences. The more experiences you have, the deeper you feel when you create. You can choose from different emotions and cognition and integrate them into the dance movements.

"Always give yourself 10% chance."

When people ask Shaun how to design choreography, he always says this. He believes that design and creation can reach 90%, leaving 10% to let it "resigned". Maybe the arrangement of 100% can make you control everything, but there will always be something missing. Leave yourself room for 10% and let it play freely, and you will find more different surprises. Personal perception is very important. Leave yourself room for 10%, which is more profound and more growth than following the plan.

Sean's advice to a new generation of dancers

A new generation of dancers has a bright future, but the road under your feet now was built by people in the past. You can't create the future without understanding the past.

Soul. D tip:

Thanks to the efforts of the predecessors, the new generation of dancers should continue to refuel and innovate.
