Beach volleyball is a high-intensity sport, but many people like to play it because it can not only exercise but also enhance friendship, but some people don't know much about the origin of beach volleyball. Let me share with you a brief introduction of beach volleyball.

Introduction to beach volleyball 1 Red sun, clear sky, blue sea and white sand beach, groups of barefoot men and women, wearing sunglasses and colorful swimsuits, kept running and jumping on the beach court, serving, catching, spiking and saving the ball, winning cheers from onlookers. This is beach volleyball. It is predicted that beach volleyball will become one of the most popular sports in the near future.

Beach volleyball is developed on the basis of indoor volleyball. It was originally a game of swimming in spare time, and then it gradually developed into a sports competition. 65438-0940, the United States, Brazil and other countries organized beach volleyball competitions. 1976, the first prize-winning competition was held in the United States. 1979, professional beach volleyball began to appear. 1982, American professional beach volleyball association was established.

1In February 1987, FIVB held the "First World Beach Volleyball Championship" in Brazil with a prize of 25,000 US dollars. Seven countries including the United States and Brazil participated in the competition. Since then, with the support and call of FIVB, beach volleyball has been widely developed all over the world.

There are nearly 2000 beach volleyball courts in Brazil. On holidays, people pull up their nets early in the morning and play ball enthusiastically. There are more than 60 professional beach volleyball players in the United States, and the prizes for professional competitions are getting higher and higher, from $5,000 in 1976 to $600,000 in 1987. Travel agencies also organize tour groups to watch the game. There are 8 large-scale beach volleyball competitions in Italy every year, with more than 50 teams participating.

The beach volleyball competition rules are basically applicable to the indoor volleyball competition rules published by FIVB, and there is no big difference in field area, net size, net height, ball weight and ball diameter. The biggest difference is that there are two people and four people on the court. Players can cross the net without disturbing the opponent's game. After the game starts, no substitutions are allowed. This service should be carried out in turn. Our players are not allowed to block or interfere with the opponent's line of sight when serving. In the anti-spike mat, combo and catch are allowed, but clapping and throwing the ball are not allowed. The timeout of each game is 60 seconds, as long as the two teams do not continue the game.

Beach volleyball has just started in China. In Asia, Japan was the first country to launch this sport.

Practical Techniques of Beach Volleyball

service

The service position, any point between the extension line and the bottom line on both sides of the court, can be divided into low handball, high ball and jump service.

catch a ball

The general way to catch the ball is to put your hands together. Keep your thumbs straight and close to the floor, put one hand with four fingers folded and put them in the jaws of the other hand, and make a fist with the other hand with four fingers folded, and catch the ball with the flat part of the thumb joint. When catching the ball, lean forward, keep your feet apart, keep your eyes on the ball, adjust your pace according to the trajectory of the ball, straighten your arms obliquely, and hit the ball to the predetermined position.

control the ball

Holding the ball is to lift the ball and pass it to your partner accurately. When holding the ball, your hands are raised, your elbows are slightly higher than your shoulders, your thumbs are open, your wrists are straight at the moment you touch the ball, and the ball is ejected with the strength of your wrists and elbows. It should be noted that when holding the ball, the first two knuckles of the finger touch the ball, not just the fingertips, otherwise it is easy to cause sprain.

spike

Spike is the most important scoring method, which requires speed, accuracy and stability. Pay attention to the timing when spiking. When the body jumps to the highest point, touch the ball with the lower part of the palm, then protect the ball with the whole palm and smash it with all your strength.

1, catch the ball head-on

(1) Prepare posture

The front is facing the direction of the ball, the feet are wider than the shoulders, one foot is in front, two heels are raised, the forefoot touches the ground, the knees are slightly flexed and retracted, the center of gravity is slightly tilted forward, and the arms are naturally bent and placed on the abdomen.

(2) Hand type, hitting point and touching position

When the ball is close to the front of the abdomen, the hands are folded, the palms are close together, the palms are locked, the two thumbs are parallel to the front, the arms are straight, the wrists are pressed down, and the cheeks formed by forearm rotation are close to the lower part of the wrist hitting the ball. The hitting point is at the left and right distance of the arm in front of the abdomen, which is convenient to control the strength and adjust the arm angle according to the direction of catching the ball.

(3) Hit the ball hard

Put your arms forward and insert them under the ball, relying on your arms to increase the strength of the ball, and at the same time, with the action of your waist, your body's center of gravity moves forward and upward. When hitting the ball, the two arms should form a plane, and the body and the two arms should naturally accompany the ball and control the landing point and direction of the ball. When catching the ball, you should also control the movement of your arm according to the strength of the incoming ball, and adopt the above action when catching the ball lightly. When receiving a medium-intensity incoming ball, because the incoming ball has a certain speed, the arm movement should be small and the speed should be slow, mainly relying on the rebound force generated by the incoming ball itself to pick up the ball. When catching a heavy ball, you should take the action of abdomen and chest, and bend your elbow with the incoming ball to buffer the power of the incoming ball and control the distance of catching the ball. When the ball is a little far away from the body and the hitting point is low, the arm should bend its elbow and wrist, and the ball will be connected to the tiger's mouth at the wrist during the buffering process.

2. Hands on the side to catch the ball

The action of catching the ball with your arms on both sides of your body is called side catching. Use when the incoming ball is fast, away from the body, and it is too late to move the aiming ball. Body-side catching can expand the defensive range, but it is difficult to control the direction of catching the ball. So when you have time to move, you'd better grab it with your head.
