As an adult, Rudolph did not choose his own love like his parents, but "married" like more members of the royal family. His wife is Princess Stephanie of Belgium. Rudolph and Stephanie were indifferent. Rudolph's temperament suddenly changed after his daughter was born. He even wrote to the Vatican asking for a divorce, but his father stopped him.
Rudolph's various reform proposals were refuted by his father Flantz's immature comments-all of which made Rudolph despair of life.
Early experience
Rudolph was born in Laxenburg Castle near Vienna on August 26th, 265438. He is the only son of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria and Princess Sisi of Austria-Hungary. Under the influence of his mentor Ferdinand von Hofstadter, Rudolph became interested in natural science and began to collect minerals at an early age. After his death, most of his mineral collection became the collection of Vienna Agricultural University.
Rudolph and his sister gisela grew up together, and their relationship is very close. When I was 6 years old, I separated from my sister and began to receive education on how to become an emperor in the future. But this did not alienate the feelings of the two brothers and sisters. Until gisela married Leopold, the Bavarian prince, and left Vienna, she kept a close relationship with Rudolph.
Contrary to his very conservative father, Rudolph has liberal ideas similar to his mother's. However, the relationship between Rudolph and his mother is sometimes very tense.
