What is the concept and content of sports dance appreciation?
New Concept of Sports Dance Training in 2009

Sports dance movements are completed with bones as levers, joints as rotation axes and muscle contraction as power. The training of basic skills is to use bones, joints and muscles to drive correct footwork and posture, and with the help of the elasticity of the floor, the body can get a light and stretched balance and move the center of gravity skillfully. Only by repeating these basic trainings can we lay a solid foundation for standardizing dance steps and competitive dance steps, so that dancers can take fewer detours and jump out of beautiful dance steps as soon as possible.

The teaching and training of sports dance generally includes general technical training and special technical training. Among them, general technical training includes physical training and basic dance training, while special technical training includes basic dance steps training and routine movements training of various dances.

I. General technical training

General technical training is the primary stage of training, and the content of training is only to lay a solid basic skill for mastering special skills. Modern dance and Latin dance can adopt basically the same general training contents and methods. The main training contents and methods are body training and basic dance training.

Physical training

Physical training of sports dance is a combination of basic ballet practice and unarmed posture practice, which cultivates the correct and beautiful posture and movements of the practitioners and improves their basic physical fitness, and is the basis for practicing sports dance.

Basic dance training

The main contents of basic dance training include the basic dance postures and forms such as standing neck, closing palate, sinking shoulders, holding out chest, abdomen, standing waist, straightening knees, extending feet and keeping eyes straight. Through the training of basic dance skills, we mainly cultivate correct posture, beautiful dance movements and elegant and lively temperament, and master basic dance movements and rich action materials.

Second, special technical training

Special technical training is based on general technical training and according to the technical requirements of sports dance, special technical training is adopted. They all include the basic footwork training and routine action training of their respective dances.

Basic dance training

Basic dance steps refer to the typical dance steps with different structural types necessary for various sports dances. The purpose of training is to master and improve the basic dance techniques and lay a good foundation for mastering other dance movements. The basic dance steps of sports dance are composed of body posture and body dance steps. Therefore, the basic dance step training of Latin dance and Moden dance includes body movement training, gesture movement training and dance step movement training.
