What if the sweater gets bigger?
Question 1: The sweater became bigger after washing. . . What should I do? I washed the sweater once, and I put it in hot water to restore it to its original state. You can also try: put hot water in the basin (but not too hot), then put clothes and add water once or twice, otherwise it will shrink too small, then take it out, don't wring water, just put it in the clothes basket to dry. It is recommended to dry-clean clothes in the future, if the clothes are more valuable.

Question 2: Why are sweaters getting bigger and bigger? Because the sweater is woven, there are gaps between the stitches, and the wool itself is elastic and longer, so the sweater will be deformed when it is thrown or pulled hard.

Question 3: How can sweaters shrink when they get bigger and bigger? The fiber structure of woolen clothing is looser than other fabrics, so it is easy to deform. This is the problem of silk clothing itself. Mild deformation can be recovered by ironing and stretching, while severe deformation cannot be recovered.

Precautions to avoid deformation of silk and wool clothes;

1) Use neutral detergent.

2) The whole washing process is washed with cold water.

3) Avoid violent friction.

4) Use softener after washing.

Please check the clothes label before cleaning the sweater. If the sweater can be washed with water, please clean it in the following ways.

1. Dust before washing, and then soak in cold water 10-20 minutes (wool fabric will shrink and deform in water solution above 30 degrees, so it should be soaked in cold water for a short time);

2. Then gently rub the clothes in the water with Blue Moon Silk Cleaning Liquid or Blue Moon Laundry Liquid. Don't rub them hard. If you want to machine wash, choose light gear (the washing temperature should not exceed 40 degrees);

3. Rinse with clear water, take it out and squeeze it dry.

note:

1, dry cleaning is recommended for sweaters;

2. Sweaters are not alkali-resistant. If it is washed with water, use a neutral detergent without enzyme, preferably a special detergent for wool. If you use a washing machine, you should use a drum washing machine and choose a soft program. If you wash it by hand, it is best to rub it gently, not with a washboard.

3. Do not use chlorine-containing bleaching solution for sweaters, but use oxygen-containing bleaching solution; Squeeze and wash, avoid wringing, squeeze out water, spread it evenly and dry it in the shade or fold it in the shade; Wet plastic surgery or semi-dry plastic surgery can remove wrinkles and avoid sun exposure; Softening agents should be used to maintain soft hand feel and antistatic properties. Dark colors generally fade easily and should be washed separately.

Question 4: What should I do if the sweater becomes loose? Match that sweater with other pants and shoes and change the style.

Satisfied, please adopt.

Question 5: What should I do if the sweater is too long? Did it fit you when you bought it? The sweater grows longer, doesn't it?

This situation can be handled in the following ways:

The first trick: immerse the sweater in warm water at 30℃-50℃, or steam it in a pot for 20 minutes, let it slowly recover its shape, and then put it in cold water to set it. Finally, remember not to wring it out when drying, but to dry it flat. If the sweater is too long, this is a very effective method.

The second trick: inject warm water into the washbasin, drop a small amount of household ammonia water, and then soak the sweater, and the soap left on the wool will melt. Gently stretch the narrowed part with both hands at the same time, and then rinse it to dryness. When it is half dry, first open it by hand, straighten it, and iron it with an iron to restore its original size.

The third measure: pure wool clothes must not be washed with a washing machine. It is best to dry clean or hand wash. Because the surface of wool fiber is composed of many scales, once it is washed by washing machine, it will destroy its excellent performance and affect its appearance. Pour neutral detergent into warm water at about 30℃. After the detergent is stirred evenly, add clothes and pat gently with your hands. Wash it several times with warm water of about 40℃ until it is clean. Then add a little vinegar or softener to clean water, and finally put the sweater into a cloth bag and put it in a washing machine for dehydration 1-2 minutes. Smooth the rabbit sweater and iron it with a steam iron at 120℃- 140℃. The iron can't touch the rabbit sweater directly. The rabbit hair sweater can be flattened and dried after it is shaped. This is a very good way to solve the problem of how to do if the sweater is too long.

The fourth measure: when drying sweaters, in order to avoid the sweater from getting bigger and longer, it is best to lay the sweater flat and dry it, or hang the umbrella directly on it.

Question 6: The bigger the knitted sweater is washed, the bigger it will be, or the looser it will be. Most of them are caused by improper washing and hanging methods. When drying sweaters at ordinary times, in order to prevent the sweaters from getting bigger and longer, it is best to spread the sweaters flat and dry them, or open an umbrella to dry them directly on them. If you feel that it is not easy to dry, you can also hang the sweater with two or three hangers and put the tail end on the hanger, so that the sweater will not be deformed.

Question 7: Why is the sweater getting bigger and bigger? How to maintain it? 1. Before washing knitted clothes, pat off the dust and soak it in cold water 10 ~ 20 minutes. After taking it out, squeeze out the water, gently rub it in the washing powder solution or soap sheet solution, and then rinse it with clear water. In order to ensure the color of wool, 2% acetic acid (vinegar can also be used) can be dripped into water to neutralize the remaining soap.

2. Washing sweaters with tea leaves (it is best not to use this method for white clothes) can not only wash away dust, but also make wool not fade and prolong its service life.

The washing method is: use 1 pot of boiling water, add a proper amount of tea leaves, filter out the tea leaves after the tea leaves are soaked and cooled, soak the sweater (thread) in the tea leaves for 15 minutes, then gently rub it for several times, and then rinse it with clear water.

3. The white sweater will gradually turn black when worn for a long time. If you wash the sweater, put it in the refrigerator 1 hour, and then take it out to dry, it will be as white as new. If the dark sweater is stained with dust, you can soak it in water and squeeze it dry, then wipe it gently.

So how do you dry it after washing? This is the key issue. Xiao Zhuo reminds you to keep your eyes open and read the following text! !

Don't hang clothes by hanging them. Hanging clothes can only turn them into long sweaters (but if you like Xiao Zhuo). We can adopt two methods:

1. Avoid exposure to the sun, which will destroy its luster and elasticity and make it yellow and black. Knitwear should be dried in the shade after washing and placed in a ventilated and dry place. It is best to lay it flat and put it in the original shape of the clothes to avoid deformation. You can also avoid ironing.

2. If you can't lay it flat, you'd better put it in a net bag and dry it in the shade. But it may shrink a little!

After washing, we dealt with it, and another problem appeared: great, the sweater pilled!

Question 8: The bigger the clothes are, how can they shrink? The shrinkage rate of clothes is determined by the fabric. Hemp and cotton are natural textiles with high shrinkage. Generally, the clothes that leave the factory are shrunk, so you want to meet the needs of clothing fitting by shrinking. I don't think it is feasible. Cotton and linen fabrics will indeed shrink due to hot water, but it will also damage cotton and linen fibers, making the fabrics loose and inelastic, which is not conducive to long-term wear of clothing. If you want to change your figure, you'd better go to the tailor's shop for a simple trim.

Question 9: What should I do if the cuffs of the sweater are loose? One of my sweaters looks good everywhere, but the cuffs are getting looser and looser like an old sweater. A friend suggested that the cuff should be covered with a thin elastic nylon rope. I can't wait to try it right away, and the effect is really good. The cuffs were tightened immediately, and there was no trace of suture. After this treatment, this beloved sweater has been worn for several years.

There are many colors of nylon elastic rope. You should use the same color as your sweater.

Sweater sewing needle is put on nylon elastic rope and sewn with double thread. Pay attention to tightness when sewing, not too tight.

When sewing, the stitch should not be exposed, the thread end should be tied in a fast knot, and then the remaining thread should be woven into the needle eye of the sweater.

This is a loose and drooping sleeve before sewing nylon rope, which looks like an "inelastic sweater"

After sewing the nylon elastic rope, the cuffs are tightened without any trace of stitching.

Question 10: What should I do if the sweater becomes bigger? I bought a pure cotton sweater, not pure cotton. I heard that soaking in hot water that is not too hot can shrink it. Is it true?/You don't say. Using hot water bubbles will shrink, or using hot water bubbles first and then using cold water to bleach, so the shrinkage should be even greater, and factories sometimes do the same. Try to wash this sweater by hand, because it is easy to mix with other clothes in the washing machine. Due to the centrifugal force, clothes will be stretched. It can also be put in a net bag and washed by machine, which can improve it. After washing and dewatering, you can hang the clothes at both ends to dry. If only one hanger is used, the water in the clothes will move down due to gravity, making the clothes longer.
