In fact, the so-called ultra-thin LCD is just a kind of propaganda, and there is no strict academic definition. Therefore, in the era of LCD(CCFL backlight) two or three years ago, it can be self-proclaimed as ultra-thin. In the following years, many brands chased each other on the ultra-thin road, especially after entering the era of LED backlight, LCD can really be ultra-thin, and now the thinnest display thickness can be below 65433. However, these are not without costs. First of all, the transformer coil that was originally placed inside the monitor must be placed outside now, otherwise it cannot be slimmed down. Secondly, transfer all the monitors with the thickness of 1 cm to the base of the monitor, so that there are only screens and backlight modules in the monitor, making it the thinnest. I wonder if the monitor will be less than half a centimeter in the future?
LED must be thin, and the thickness of LCD should not be less than 3 cm.
