Under any of the following circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death, and shall also be fined or confiscated:

(3) robbing banks or other financial institutions;

(4) Robbery for many times or the amount of robbery is huge;

(5) Robbery causes serious injury or death;

(six) posing as military and police personnel to rob;

(eight) robbing military supplies or emergency rescue, disaster relief and relief supplies.

Legal basis: According to the provisions of Article 288 of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), in the following public prosecution cases, if the criminal suspect and the defendant sincerely repent by means of compensation for losses or apology and obtain the victim's understanding, the two parties can reconcile voluntarily:

(a) due to a civil dispute, suspected of criminal cases stipulated in Chapters IV and V of the Criminal Specific Provisions, and may be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years;

(2) A negligent crime that may be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than seven years, except for the crime of dereliction of duty.

If a criminal suspect or defendant intentionally commits a crime within five years, the punishment prescribed in this chapter shall not apply.
