Lee Shau Kee Cantonese Pinyin, Lee Shau Kee (1928 65438+129 October-), born in Shunde, Guangdong, is a Hong Kong real estate developer, chairman of Henderson Land and China Gas. He is the third richest man in Hong Kong, ranking second only to Li Ka-shing and Guo Bingxiang brothers. In Forbes magazine's list of the world's richest people in 2005, Lee Shau Kee ranked 38th, with a total personal assets of about $9.5 billion.
Lee Shau Kee was born in Guangdong and moved to Hong Kong in his early years. Dr. Li is the founder of Henderson Land Development Co., Ltd., and has been the chairman and general manager of Henderson Land Development Co., Ltd. since 1976. Over the years, Dr. Li has been supporting and encouraging the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since 1977, Dr. Li has been a member of the three-year MBA Program Advisory Committee of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (later reorganized as the MBA Program Advisory Committee). Since 1988, Dr. Li has returned to the Board of Directors of United College. 1993, Dr. Li was awarded an honorary doctorate in social sciences by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Li has helped us in many ways and donated huge amounts of money to train outstanding talents and promote academic development. 199 1 year, Dr. Li donated a large sum of money to help Yale University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong carry out research projects in South China. This donation provided doctoral scholarships, hired senior researchers, set up chairs, purchased books and materials, and sponsored academic conferences for China research projects of Yale University and Chinese University of Hong Kong, which promoted academic cooperation between the two universities, strengthened the understanding of professional and business circles in South China, and maintained the sustainable development of Hong Kong and South China, with far-reaching influence.
