A rule to follow when cleaning up the files on disk C is to only consider deleting useful folders or files and empty folders, and files with unknown purposes will not be moved.
For example, I have a QMDownload folder here, and when I open it and see an installation package, I know that this is the path where a program saves files, and this folder can be deleted. Then I found that there was no file in a folder, the file was empty, and there were no hidden files, so this folder on drive C could be deleted.
How to clean drive C without affecting the system? You can use some cleaning tools, such as 360 guards. The specific steps are as follows.
1. Open the 360 Guardian in the computer, or install it yourself. Click Full Features and select System Tools.
2. On the right, click Add in System Disk Slimming.
3. Then, wait and automatically scan the system files.
4. View the file relocation, and click Slim Now.
5. Finally, you can clean up some space on the C disk of the computer, as shown in the figure below.
Precautions:
When downloading software or storing files, it is recommended to choose a disk other than disk C to avoid affecting the operation of the computer.
