First, in windows XP, IE cannot be reinstalled by default. If you have to reinstall because of file errors and failures, you can use the following methods. Insert the installation CD of windows XP, and enter "rundll32.exe Setup API, lnstallhinfsection Defaultlnstall132 c: \ Windows \ INF \ IE. INF ",and then reinstall IE (assuming Windows is installed in c:\windows).

Reinstallation of IE 5.0 can be performed according to the following steps:
