What is tango?
Tango is a dance for two people.

I. Introduction to Tango

Tango is a two-person dance, which originated from tangono, a folk dance in the Midwest of the United States. Tango is a special dance in modern dance and a dance with Latin characteristics.

The accompaniment music of tango is 2/4 beat, but it is a staccato performance with strong rhythm. So in actual performance, every quarter note becomes two eighth notes, so there are four eighth notes in each bar.

/kloc-from the end of the 6th century to the beginning of the 7th century, with the slave trade entering America, Latin American folk dance styles were merged, and Mexican tango with elegant and free dance and Argentine tango with bold and vigorous dance steps were formed, which were later introduced to Europe and developed continuously.

Second, the historical origin

Tango is said to be a secret dance between lovers. Men used to wear short knives when they danced. Although they don't wear knives, dancers must look serious and look around to avoid being found. All other dances should be smiling. Just don't laugh when you tango, but look serious.

Tango is very rich in body language, and the standardized tango used in sports dance competitions is much simpler than the local tango in Argentina.

Tango genre classification

First of all, the Argentine tango

Argentine tango is the ancestor of all kinds of tangos today. In Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, tango represents the grassroots nature of Argentina, but it is not a leisure, but a culture. In the early days, it was not called tango, but Milonga, which evolved from one of many Argentine national dances.

Today, Argentine tango is a respected, researched and organized organization and society, and it is the leader of various dances. From the Argentine tango dance classroom in the community to the Broadway theater in the United States, the traces of dance can be said to be everywhere.

Second, English tango.

English tango began to invade Europe from the French-Argentine community across the British Island. Due to the release of its standard template, it is in full swing in promotion. Since then, the foreign tango "English tango" in the eyes of Argentines has gradually replaced the word "tango".

Third, American tango.

It is inevitable that American tango will develop from Argentine tango to American tango. Because of the popularity of English tango, American tango tends to favor English tango in grip and dance steps. The traditional American tango, the indifferent and glamorous heroine in Hollywood movies, threw herself at each other through the masculinity and enthusiasm of tango. The word "tango" is deeply rooted in people's hearts all over the world through movies.
