Operating steps:

1. When there is an update, Ubuntu 16.04 will display the update notification as a floating window in the upper right corner of the screen.

2. When the update notice appears, click the Ubuntu Software Center icon (orange shopping bag icon) on the startup bar to start the application window of the software center.

3. On the Update tab of the Software Center, there will be some numbers to identify the number of updates currently available.

4. Click the "Update" tab to enter the detailed page of available updates, which lists all available updates in the form of projects.

5. You can click an updated item to pop up the updated sub-items and updated contents of each item.

6. Click the "Install" button in the upper right corner of the window, and the installation process of various updates will all begin. You can also click the separate Install button after the update to install only one update.

7. After the update and installation, a prompt of "Latest Software" will be displayed in the middle of the window; There will be the latest update time below.

8. Click the Update button in the upper left corner of the window at any time to check, download and install available updates.
