Do you usually have to race to lose weight when walking?
Not necessarily. You don't need to race and walk in order to lose weight. Race walking can only exercise leg muscles. If you want to lose weight, you can choose dancing or fitness training, or do aerobics to lose weight. Usually walking is just a general exercise, race walking is a sport, and slimming is a fitness exercise, which is not exactly the same. Race walking can't achieve slimming, just learn to dance.
