Seventy-two Tenants is a large-scale Cantonese sitcom produced by Guangdong Film and Television Production Co., Ltd., directed by Guo Wuming, Lin, Cai and Lin Xingyun, and co-starred by Huang, Huang, Wang, Wang and Lin Xingyun. The play tells the story of 72 tenants who lived in Taiping Street, Xiguan, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in the 1940s and the Republic of China. The story mainly describes the contest between landlord and tenant and the ups and downs of neighborhood life. The play premiered on Guangdong Southern Satellite TV on July 5, 2008.
