Photoshop's built-in filters have two main purposes. One is to create special image effects, such as chalk drawing, stamp, texture, waves and other special effects. This kind of filter has the largest number, mostly in filter groups such as stylization, sketch, texture, pixelation, rendering and artistic effect. Except for distortion and a few other filters, they are basically managed and applied through the filter library.
The second category is mainly used for editing images, such as reducing noise and improving clarity. These filters are in the Blur, Sharpen, and Noise filter groups. In addition, "liquefaction", "vanishing point" and "lens correction" also belong to this kind of filter. These three filters are special and powerful, with their own tools and unique operation methods, more like independent software.
