Cross method: draw a horizontal line to the left or right from the vertex of gluteal fissure, and then draw a vertical line from the highest point of iliac spine, with 1/4 as the injection site.

Suture method: Take the outer upper third of the suture between the anterior superior iliac spine and coccyx as the injection site.

2, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus injection positioning:

① Place the fingertip and the middle fingertip on the lateral side of the anterior superior iliac spine and the lower edge of the iliac spine respectively. The iliac spine, the index finger and the middle finger form a triangle, and the injection site is within the angle formed by the index finger and the middle finger.

② Three transverse fingers on the lateral side of the anterior superior iliac spine (based on the finger width of the patient).

3. Location of lateral femoral muscle injection: it is located outside the middle thigh, with a width of about 7.5cm, above the knee 10cm and below the hip joint 10cm.
