How to clean up computer memory
Computer memory is too large? Teach you how to clean up computer memory.

First, uninstall unnecessary programs and files.

Many times we don't pay attention to the installation location, and the program is automatically installed on the C drive. At this time, we can open "Programs and Functions" in the control panel, uninstall these applications that we will not use or install automatically, select the program name, and right-click "Uninstall".

Second, transfer the software to other disks.

If the installed program cannot be uninstalled and deleted, you can try to transfer the software to another disk. Because there is a lot of information written in the system registry when installing the program, we can't directly cut the folder where the installation program is located to other partitions. We can use tools to complete the transfer. Search and download the independent version of "360 C disk mobile tool", and select "C disk software" in the running window.

It lists all the installed software on drive C. According to the "moving suggestion" at the back, you can check "move the software immediately" and then "move the software with one button". Pay attention to turn off the software to be moved and the security antivirus software when moving.

Third, transfer user data to other partitions.

There are a large number of user data files on drive C. By default, files including desktop and documents are stored on drive C. We can also transfer these files to other partitions.

Find the Users folder of drive C, right-click the folders such as documents, music or desktop, select Properties, select Location in the window that appears, change the path to another drive letter, and then transfer these folders to other partitions. This also has the security of using user data, otherwise, if the system disk is damaged, the user data will be easily lost after reinstalling the system.

We can also directly use the "360°C disk moving tool" just now to transfer.

Fourth, use tools to clean up junk files.

For other junk files in the system, we can use some tools, such as the common 360 security guards or QQ security housekeeper. Take 360 Security Guard as an example, just open "Computer Cleaning" in the main interface, then "Comprehensive Cleaning", and then "One-click Cleaning" after inspection.

You can also choose a special optimization cleaning tool, such as Dism++. After searching and downloading, you can choose to open X32 or X64 programs according to the digits of the operating system, click Space Recovery, select scanning items, and click Scan to finish scanning before cleaning. For example, the "replacement WinSxS component" can clean up a lot of space for files that are replaced after system installation and update.

5. Turn off or transfer the system settings that occupy the space.

Windows virtual memory, system hibernation and other functions in Windows operating system are stored on disk C by default, which takes up a lot of space. We can transfer the Windows virtual memory to another partition and turn off the system hibernation function, so that we can set it directly in the operating system or operate it with tools.

For example, we use the "system disk slimming" in 360 security guards to operate. First, open the "Function Collection" in 360 Security Guard, install the "System Disk Slimming" program, open the program, check "Windows Virtual Memory" and "System Hibernation Function", and click "Slimming Now" to complete the transfer and shutdown operations. There is also the function of transferring user data files.
