Heque Flower There is a peculiar flower named Heque Flower in Gongkeng Temple (Tiancheng Temple) in Xiaopenglai Mountain (now under Pengjiang District of Jiangmen City) behind Lexi Village, Quehua Town, Tanghe, Xinhui.
Its vines are thicker than people's arms, climbing around other trees, such as hanging swings and drying ribbons, swaying vigorously, covering 30 to 40 acres of land around Gongkeng Temple. Its flowers are as big as sparrows, hanging in strings among trees, and cotton is continuous. Each string of twenty or thirty flowers, connected by a small green vine, looks like thousands of sparrows living in the shade of a forest.
The flower is beige, with four petals, a receptacle like a bird's head and two black spots like eyes. The middle petal is like a sparrow's back, the other two petals are like a sparrow's wings, and the bottom petal stretches backwards like a sparrow's tail. There is a pinch of slender slightly curved stamens in the greenhouse, which is called "viscera".
