What is the development history of body underwear?
The development history of body underwear is introduced as follows.

1. The earliest "body shaping underwear" in the world originated before 3000 BC. Women in exposed corsets appeared on ancient statues and murals. The corset underwear with the statue of snake god in the temple of Crete is considered to be the earliest corset for women. The waist-binding devices or corsets with chest wraps appearing in some mosaics are considered as the embryonic form of tight underwear.

Second, the body-shaping underwear we talked about today. As early as ancient times, thin linen underwear made of linen appeared in China, but there was no obvious difference between its style and top. The real underwear form appeared in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, which was called "Ze" and "Praise Clothing".

3. The history of body-shaping underwear can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period over 500 years BC. Court courtiers and ladies-in-waiting should always tighten their belts to keep their waists slim. This corset should be regarded as the prototype of China's body-shaping underwear.

Fourth, the real body-shaping underwear originated from the European court in the14th century. There are two kinds of corsets, soft and hard, and their cutting methods are similar to today's three-dimensional cutting methods. The soft corset is made by overlapping layers of stiff fabrics. There are bone strips, metal strips and whale bone brackets at the center and sides of the front part, and the waist is tied with ropes.

5. The rigid corset is made of wood or metal products, and the joint is assembled and fixed by hinges and hooks. Hard corsets are more painful to wear than soft corsets because of the material, which has a great influence on the development of human bones and internal organs.

Six, today it can be said that body-shaping underwear has gone through six generations. The first generation: the use of fixed molds to achieve the purpose of adjusting the body shape. The second generation: fishbone support, soft mold made of horse skin. The third generation: flax as the main fabric, metal flat strip as the branch.

Seventh and fourth generation: nylon fabric, corset underwear supported by plastic strips, supporting soft molds, tightening with ropes, making users feel very constrained, more airtight, unscientific cutting, and can be completed with strength. The fifth generation: "body-shaping" underwear and functional underwear, which are made of lycra, high-elastic fiber and colored cotton and supported by ordinary memory metal strips.
