To raise carp well, we should do the following seven things:
1, build a pond
Carp ponds should be built in pollution-free, water-rich places far away from towns, or abandoned ponds can be rebuilt.
For example, the ponds left over from the original breeding of crabs, shrimps and turtles can be rebuilt, and the pond area is about 1.5 mu. If the abandoned pond area is small, it can be appropriately expanded, and the depth of the pond is about 2.5m m. After the water in the pond is drained, it can be dried for about a week, and lime water can be sprinkled for comprehensive disinfection.
2. Breeding conditions
Fertilize after disinfection, and apply about 600 kg of farmyard manure. Then wrap the entrance and exit with a filter to prevent sundries from entering the pond. The front end of the gate at the drain should also be wrapped with a filter screen to prevent carp from escaping.
Clean up the sundries in the pond before irrigation. After irrigation, it will settle in about 10 days, and then the pond will be isolated with fishing nets to prevent poultry from entering the pond and prepare for stocking fry.
3, selecting seedlings
When ordering fry in large farms, you should buy fry with uniform size, no disease and strong swimming ability.
The purchased fry should be transported in cages, and oxygen should be replenished in time during transportation, which is conducive to reducing fry damage.
After the fry are transported to the farm, they should be kept temporarily. First, about 65,438+00 fish fry were taken out for trial culture, and the fish fry were observed in the water. If there is no abnormality within 24 hours, all the fry can be put into the farm.
4. Breeding density
Under normal circumstances, it is best to breed carp about 3000 kg per mu in the pond, which can be matched with other species of fish about 300 kg. If the breeding quantity is too large, diseases will easily occur and the breeding cost will increase.
Silver carp and bighead carp are generally polyculture, and the specific culture density can be adjusted according to the region, environment, climate, water quality, culture technology and investment.
5, fixed-point feeding
When the fry are put in the pond for about 10 days, they don't need to be fed. The plankton in the pond can guarantee food supply for a period of time. During this period, feed should be prepared before they can be domesticated and raised. Feed should be put into every corner of the pond at the initial stage of domestication, and then when the fry adapt to the feed, the range of feeding should be gradually reduced and the domestication should be strengthened. After complete domestication, you can feed at a fixed point. Domestication and reproduction are beneficial to later management.
6, post-management
The later management is mainly to observe the growth of carp by feeding. If the carp has a bad appetite, as long as a few fish come to eat at a time, the feed formula should be adjusted appropriately. If the effect is not good, it is possible that carp will have symptoms and should be treated with drugs in time.
If the carp is found to be stagnant for a long time or float to the surface of the pond to breathe through its mouth, it is that the carp is short of oxygen and should be replenished in time.
Patrol and observe whether the isolation net is abnormal every day, and repair it in time if it is damaged.
7. Overwintering treatment
Carp is very troublesome in winter. If the pond freezes, it is necessary to open an oxygen hole with tools in time. After the rain, it is necessary to clean the center of the pond and sweep away the open space with a width of about 6m and a length of about 10m, which is conducive to improving the transparency of the bottom of the pond and allowing carp to overwinter normally.
In rural areas, many people will deliberately raise fish in ponds, among which there will usually be carp. If you want to raise well, you still need to remember the above seven points. When it's done, it can usually be raised big and delicious!
