March Street is held at the foot of Diancang Mountain in western Dali every year from March 15 to 2 1 day of the lunar calendar. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, businessmen from Sichuan, Tibet and Jiangnan provinces came here to do business. It is not only a place for communication, but also a garden for performing various dances, horse races and competitions.

There is a poem by Juren Teachers College in Gan Long, Dali: "Wuling dominates Feng Touxie, catching the moon street with one heart. Burn incense and buy goods in front of the Yuanzu monument on Guanyin Stone Bank. " This is a vivid description of March Street. In the traditional March Street, mules, horses, mountain products, medicinal materials and tea are the bulk materials. Bai people want to sing and dance, while Yi, Bai, Hui and Tibetan people want to race horses and sing.
