Shanghai Navigation Instrument Factory, formerly known as Shanghai Customs Pudong Factory, was founded in Tongzhi for 8 years (1869). Before liberation, it was the Lujiazui Customs Factory in Pudong under the jurisdiction of the former General Administration of Customs of China. After the liberation of Shanghai, it was placed under military control. 1949 merged with the customs warehouse in September, and was named as the customs Pudong factory (institution), which was responsible for repairing lighthouses and equipment. Since liberation, the affiliation has changed several times, and it successively belongs to China General Administration of Customs, General Administration of Maritime Engineering of Ministry of Communications, Naval Hydrology Department, Maritime Security Department, Shanghai Machinery Industry Bureau, Shanghai Electromechanical Industry Bureau, No.9 Bureau of the Third Machinery Department and No.6 Machinery Department. It has been used by the famous Maritime General Factory, No.1 Maritime Factory, Shanghai Light Label Manufacturing Factory, Navigation Instrument Factory of General Administration of Navigation Engineering of Ministry of Communications, Navigation Instrument Factory of Naval Hydrology Department, No.10 Naval Instrument Factory, Shanghai Navigation Instrument Factory and State-owned Liaoyuan Instrument Factory, and was renamed as Shanghai Navigation Instrument Factory on 1972.
Shanghai Aerial Survey Instrument Factory, formerly known as Licheng Hardware Factory, was founded in 35 years. 1956 merged with Shanghai kezhan instrument factory and changed its name to Shanghai Licheng instrument factory, specializing in the production of various marine instruments; 1965 was renamed as Shanghai Aerial Survey Instrument Factory.
From June 65438 to June 0992, Shanghai Navigation Instrument General Factory was formed by the merger of navigation instruments, navigation instruments and aerial survey instruments. It is a large-scale instrument backbone enterprise under China Shipbuilding Corporation.
