Huimin County, Binzhou, Shandong Province, was ruled by Wuding government in the Qing Dynasty. The kimchi produced here is famous all over the country for its bright color, salty and sweet taste, slightly salty and sweet taste, rich sauce flavor and delicious fragrance. They are called "Wu Dingfu pickles" and are one of the traditional famous products in Shandong. Wu Dingfu has been producing kimchi for more than 300 years. As early as the Ming dynasty, the pickles workshop here was very prosperous. To the Qing dynasty. 2. Pancake
Pot stickers are one of the traditional famous spots in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. Pot stickers are made of soft flour into two small cakes, which are baked on the stove to brown for later use, then stuffed with eggs, cooked meat, tofu and coriander, rolled into cakes, slightly fried and cut into pieces. Xing Zhenhai was founded in Xiguan Village, Bincheng in the late Qing Dynasty. 3. Zhanhua Dongzao
Zhanhua Winter Jujube, a specialty of Zhanhua District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is a landmark product of chinese national geography.
Zhanhua Dongzao jujube is oblate or round in shape, with smooth fruit surface. When mature, it is light red, flaky red and full red respectively, and the colored surface is ochre red. Mature Zhanhua winter jujube has thin skin, crisp meat, small core, sweet taste, sweet and sour taste and no residue. The perennial planting area is stable at about 500,000 mu.
On August 6, 2002, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the protection of Zhanhua Dongzao as a geographical product.
On July 20th, 2020, the European Council listed Zhanhua Dongzao as the second batch of 175 Chinese geographical indications. In April of 20021year, it was selected as the first batch of national famous new agricultural products in 20021year.
4. Yangxin Yali pear
Yangxin Yali pear, a specialty of Yangxin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is a geographical indication product of national agricultural products.
Yangxin Yali pear is beautiful in appearance, golden in color and inverted oval, so it is named because the base of pear stalk protrudes like a duck head. Yali pear has thin skin and small core, rich flavor, crisp and refreshing taste, moderate sweet and sour taste, unique flavor, rich in sugar, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, iron and other nutrients, and has the effects of clearing heart fire, moistening lung, relieving cough and asthma, moistening dryness and relaxing bowels. Yali pear is suitable for processing nutritious food such as preserved pear, crisp pear and beverage.
On February 30th, 20 13, 13, the former People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Agriculture officially approved Xinyang Yali pear to register and protect the geographical indications of agricultural products.
5. Binzhou sesame crisp candy
Sesame crisp candy is a traditional snack in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. This product has a long history of more than 70 years. It is a unique skill handed down by three generations of Binzhou Mayor Yunlan. It has a complete production process, which can be roughly divided into six steps. From the initial production of a variety of colors, after gradual improvement, it has developed into four different flavors of sesame crisp candy: pineapple, orange, osmanthus and hawthorn. From June to 10, 2007, sesame crisp candy was listed in Binzhou intangible cultural heritage list together with Binzhou fried dumpling, Dashan roast chicken and Wu Dingfu pickles.
