Hip-hop, in English, is a "street culture" developed by African-Americans from a movement to vent their emotions. It is characterized by strong explosive force, and its movements are more exaggerated than other dances. The most attractive thing is to bring a warm feeling with the vitality of the whole body. Hip-hop training is the exercise of small muscle groups.
Jazz dance appeared in the mid-1950s, and evolved from black ballroom dancing with jazz music. Jazz dance has a great training effect on the head, shoulders, hips and other parts, such as the training of shoulders, hips and squats, the combination of squats, the softness of hands, the combination of stepping, kicking, controlling legs, twisting hips, jumping, holding out the chest, and shrugging and breathing.
Now the two dances absorb each other, and hip-hop dance absorbs the style of jazz dance, forming hip-popJAZZ.
