Atlas robot is a biped humanoid robot in the experimental stage, funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency of the US Department of Defense and developed by Boston Dynamics.

Atlas robot is made of aluminum and Qin. Height1.9m, weight150kg. It consists of head, trunk and limbs. It has two dexterous hands and walks upright on two legs like humans. Atlas robot has 28 hydraulic joints, and its head is equipped with stereo camera and laser rangefinder.
Computational performance
Atlas robot is specially designed for various search and rescue missions. It can not only walk and take things, but also cross the harsh terrain outdoors and climb with hands and feet. Its eyes are two stereo sensors, which can cross more complex terrain under the real-time remote control.
The actions that Atlas robot can complete include: striding forward on the conveyor belt, avoiding the sudden appearance of boards on the conveyor belt, and jumping steadily from a height to the ground. The two suits walked from both sides of the trap and stood on one leg. They were hit hard by the ball coming from the side, but they didn't fall down.
