Cocoon cooking is very particular. First of all, we must grasp the time. If the cooking is too bad, in the words of the countryside, it is not firm to make quilts in the future. If it is too raw, it will affect the processing and there will be lumps on the finished product. In addition, the added ingredients should be quantified. In order to pursue the whiteness of silk, some manufacturers add excessive whitening agents. I haven't studied whether this will affect the fiber of silk, but I don't add whitening agent to my own silk in the countryside.

2, dial: After the cocoon is cooked, it is handmade.

Put the cocoons in your hands one by one, and peel off the cocoons and their black skins (some quilts will have small black spots, but this thing has not been picked clean). There will always be a little bit of silk sticking in the process of removal. This kind of silk can be made into silk cotton pieces by machine or processed into quilts, and the price is low.

In addition, we will remove some secondary cocoons (such as thin cocoons) when selecting double cocoons, and these thin cocoons can also be used to beat silk and cotton with machines.

Specific dialing method: the first-class double cocoon can be pulled into a small piece as long as you dial about 5 in your hand. This process is best carried out in clean running water.

Step 3 open it

Open these small pieces on a fixed mold (be careful to draw them evenly), usually five small pieces are enough, and then spin them dry with a dehydrator. Dry them carefully, or the silk won't be so soft. Fuck! Be very dry!

This is a semi-finished product that has been pulled into a quilt. Once a Wenzhou businessman came to us to wholesale semi-finished products and asked us, "Does it look like a hat?". Haha, that's great!

4. Pull (the last key)

In the past two years, I have been used to four people pulling the "hat" to the size of the whole quilt. Earlier, it was pulled by two people, and a quilt needed a bed and a bed. Now some of them are still turning it over at home.

Pay attention to uniformity when pulling, which requires an experienced master.

Well, this is how the silk inner tube is formed. Cover it with a cotton absorbent yarn sleeve, which should be dense or a wide cotton sleeve with high count and high density. (Many manufacturers will use some fabrics with a slightly narrower width for the inner tube cover, so the price is lower. )
