Some people regard running as a self-disciplined law of life, some people regard running as a sense of ritual that life must have, and some people regard running as a necessary practice in life.
Personally, I think, even if everyone's original intention is different, please remember: don't forget your initiative.
Pursue the vanity of PB blindly, and it may ruin you. For most runners, after finishing a marathon, all they talk about is the results. Do you have PB? However, is it really that important for PB?
In fact, at the end of a marathon, people often only remember two kinds of people: one is to win the first place, and sometimes even the second or third place will be ignored; The second is a runner who suddenly falls or dies on the track; And we are more as experiencers and participants on the marathon track. The champion is only news to us, and the fallen runner is the biggest warning to us. Please don't take your grades too seriously. PB needs strength, but haste makes waste. Being able to finish the race safely and healthily is your best PB and the best respect for life.
Marathon is not as simple as we thought. Personally, I think every new runner who just started running will have some misunderstandings. When we enter a circle, the people around us will affect your original intention of running. At first, why do you think people can run 42 kilometers and I can only run 35 kilometers?
Why do others run so fast, but I am as slow as a tortoise? Human nature is good at comparing. I believe that I can do what others can do. So we began to force ourselves and restrain ourselves. In this process, some people succeeded through hard work, others got hurt through hard work, and even bid farewell to running.
Marathon needs professional and systematic training. It needs a series of powerful training reserves such as running amount, physical strength, endurance, heart and lung, running posture, pace frequency and stride length as support. Every successful person will endure loneliness and pain behind him. If you can't exercise self-discipline, enjoy loneliness and suffer, please don't try marathon rashly. Personally, I think it's good to be a Buddha runner.
Only by slowing down the pace of chasing can we enjoy better scenery. A big game, when you stand on the track, your mood and the surrounding environment will make us excited. If you can't control your excitement, you will definitely lose control of the game.
Some runners have actually reached the limit of their usual running when they run to 16 km, but in order to pursue the so-called PB before the game, there is a strong difference between consciousness and rhythm at this time; Consciousness resisted the pace of training beyond usual, but the pace kept on.
As the saying goes, eat as many bowls as you can. Even if the track is no matter how good, you must first find out whether you can withstand the current intensity. If not, please don't insist, slow down and enjoy the delicious supplies and scenery on the track. Isn't it good to regard the game as a kind of enjoyment?
The fear of life is nothing more than life and death.
Personally, I think we run to exercise, not to harm our health. Don't force yourself to improve those minutes because of that little vanity. Think about it from another angle: even if you get a PB, your efforts will be rewarded and that little vanity will be satisfied. What will the rest get? In the end, I still didn't live a normal life. The door of the Olympic Games will always be open only to those professional athletes, and the through train places will always be open only to those who run away. As the saying goes, "Don't challenge others' work with your hobbies".
We love marathon, and we are more afraid of life. Compared with life, our achievements are just a string of Arabic numerals. Health, safety and happiness are the original intentions of our marathon. Only by not forgetting our own initiative can we run faster and farther.
There is no need to deliberately pursue PB. It's good to be a Buddha runner.
